Kingfisher BBATH 63cm Resin Traditional Bird Bath

The problem with birdbaths is they are mostly very expensive for what they are. Most come in at around £25+ for a plastic bath which doesn't seem to last very long. If you get metal then you are looking at £65+ as a starting point, plus metal often rusts. So, when I saw this at a cheaper price I thought I'd risk it, as even if I can get a year out of it, I won't be too upset since it was cheaper than all the others yet looks the same. UPDATE: It started leaning under the weight of the water, so it seems the base flexes a bit, especially with the wood pigeons crash landing on it. We removed the base & hammered a broom handle into the ground & then put the bath back, over the handle & this has solved the issue. Firstly it was really easy to put together. Secondly, it actually looks quite good. It comes with some pins to peg it down into the ground should you want to. I did have it on the lawn but the ground wasn't very level so I've moved it to the patio for now. Also, I don't think the birds were too sure so I have put some stones in it to give them something to stand on which has also made it a little sturdier since now I think it will hold up to the wood pigeons landing on it. So, whilst it hasn't been outside in freezing weather as yet to see how it fairs, it certainly is good enough for the summer. Happy with this purchase.

The bird's love it which ud most important!!, it is not too big. Fits nicely anywhere in the garden. It is light to move around. It looks good and more expensive than what it was. So easy to put together. And good quality. Happy with it and I Would buy another one.

The bird bath was very easy to assemble, just a few bits to screw together. It feels very light and I was doubtful about how it would survive. I levelled out a patch of grass and put the bath on this using the supplied pegs to secure it. Since I put it in place we’ve had a couple of nights with quite high winds, so far the bath has stayed in place. The birds started using it after a couple of days. They seem to be happy and, so far, so am I. UPDATE: It seems smaller birds, e.g. finches and sparrows, don’t like this bath, however, larger birds e.g. pigeons and crows, love it. This may be because the bowl is too deep or the plastic is too slippery for the smaller birds. As I’m trying to attract smaller birds I’ve now swapped this out for a stone bird bath, which has a shallower bowl, and all sizes of birds are using it

Just took delivery of this bird bath… very pleased with it, so simple to assemble colour good. Put in some pebbles and my solar fountain (bought separately) sun not great at moment so fountain not as high 🙄 I love it 😍 fits perfectly in my garden space. Hope the birds feel the same 😂

Full marks for my new bird bath. This is based on what I have bought against price what else that is available in this price range and my needs. When people see 5 stars some then compare it to a much more expensive product with better materials, which would obviously be better, comparisons should be like for like. This is a tough weather proof plastic bird bath. The materials are good and thick, it comes in 4 parts which all screw together with threaded joints, the threads are good and well made and when they are all threaded onto each other the bird bath is good and solid. It also has 3 spike pegs for securing it to an area that has soil, similar to tent pegs. I also like the colour. I only just put it into position 10 minutes ago so I’m hoping the birds will like it also. Assembled in a few minutes.

OK, i didn’t expect much at this price but I accepted before I ordered that this wasn’t going to be better than OK. I was right. As expected, it is lightweight, therefore you will need to put some stones in the water as ballast. That’s fine though, because it’s safer for the birds to have something in the deeper water that they can climb onto. I found it very difficult to screw the sections together - it took a few attempts but maybe that’s just me. I’m generally pleased with the item because I do think it’s worth the money. My only real gripe is the finish inside the bowl. The stand fits onto a section that is already fixed to the bowl. The fixing point is clearly visible in the centre of the bowl and looks quite rough. I had to put some stones in to weigh the bath down though, so in practical terms that joint is not visible now. I don’t know if the birds will use this since I haven’t had a birdbath before. That’s why I opted for a low cost option, which I will replace later if it proves popular. If you are in a similar situation, I’d recommend this item.

I know this is called a Bird Bath but Pidge is taking it literally and won’t give anyone else a go. I bought it for everyone so all the birds can have a wash but every day within ten minutes of me topping it up Pidge turns up for a spa day and washes his pits while all the little birds queue up. I bought the little solar fountain to go with it which is brilliant and now doubles as Pidge’s shower/bidet. It was easy to assemble, only took two minutes and came with three metal tent pegs to sturdy the base on the grass so it’s really secure and won’t topple over. I bought another smaller bird bath for the little birds but Pidge now uses that one as his foot spa so it’s beyond pointless. I think I need to buy a second one of these to be able to accommodate everyone. I highly recommend this item. It’s been so enjoyable to watch what’s going on each day and it’s really easy to clean too. Anyway I must go as Pidge is waiting for me to bring him a fluffy dressing gown and spa sliders.

I received the bird bath without delay it is everything I wanted lovely design and colour, even though it comes with spikes to anchor it I wanted to make it more sturdy I foĺowed the instructions to step 3 then filled the hollow with some stabilising material in my case dry post cement, dont go above the lowest screw line, (i did this for my own preference you dont really need to do this product very sturdy on flat ground without )then screw bird bath panel until secure xxx in positive this is going to last a long time x so pleased with my purchase* i give it a four out of five lol nothing is a five lol xx I also added a cement platform in the centre above the waterline for birds to birch and feel safe xx I plan to purchase this again so I have many bird bath options xxx

I was delighted to find what I wanted for a reasonable price. Simple and traditional, a great look. Just a little fiddly setting up as it is fairly light and needs anchoring to the ground.

Finalmente gli uccellini hanno capito che possono bere e fare il bagno senza problemi . Frequentato principalmente da cincie. Ottima plastica con supporti per fissarlo al terreno.

It’s lighter than I thought it would be but is stable when filled with water. The birdies haven’t caught on yet but they are a cautious bunch and need time to get used to it. As an update, it’s been through windstorms and freezing weather and being knocked over by a bear. Good quality!

J'ai donné une note minimum à ce produit car ce n'est pas ce que j'ai commandé. Le vendeur voulait une photo du produit et je ne pouvais pas le faire - de plus il n'y avait pas d'étiquette de retour et les frais auraient à ma charge. Compte-tenu de l'attitude du vendeur je n'ai pas pu considéré un échange car l'erreur aurait pu se reproduire.
