Small but Mighty
This is a great little rice cooker! Such a good price, and big enough for a family of 4, I'd say. There are only 2 of us, but half full is more than enough. It's very easy to use and makes delicious rice every time. Such a breeze to clean too!

Perfection for one person, and maybe a half!
Put water and rice in, turn it on and let it go. Not instant, and some wait, but voila, rice done perfectly and so far reliably. No rice smell and fits neatly in the corner of my kitchen. More than enough for one, and some to freeze. Thanks

Don't let the price fool you.
I was a little wary about buying this cooker, it is so cheap it has to be rubbish, how wrong could I be? So easy to use and as long as you follow the instructions, you cannot go wrong. Remember to rinse the rice and soak for a while before cooking. Use the measuring cup for the quantity and add the water to the mark on the pot INCLUDING the rice for a perfect fluffy result. It turns off when done and keeps warm for hours so no worries there and do some research to find it can cook more than just rice.

Small compact and durable
Very good, small size yet enough to make rice for 4 portions, I usually make for 2 portions with one cup of rice. Didnโt give it 5 stars because there is a design flaw that during cooking there was a little bit liquid spilled out from inner bowl to the outer case and trapped under the heating metal in the base. It was very difficult to clean, and dried bits will fall out when shaking the whole thing upside down. Overall it is still a good product, i have been using it for years and it works well.

Tiny but mighty
Great when you only need small portion of rice. Very easy to clean and the pot is still non-stick too after daily use. When I bought it in Jan 2024, I didnโt expect it to last this long so very good value for money and proves its well made. It have managed to cook max 1.75cup(uncooked) rice which is enough for 2-3 people depending on appetite. Not to be confused with US cup size, asian rice cup is much smaller. After the rice cooker finishes, I wait 2โ3 minutes before opening the lid to let the rice fully finish cooking. The keep-warm function isnโt great, as the rice on the bottom starts to dry out.

Judge Mini Rice Cooker
A lovely reliable, good quality mini rice cooker. It cooked my rice very well. It fits nicely on my counter top. It was worth the price paid. It also has different uses besides just cooking rice in. I can't wait to try other recipes in it.

Tiny, but good rice cooker
I bought this because I previously had the Russell Hobbs 1.8L one which you can find on here too. I definitely don't recommend the russell hobbs one because it has a glass top which leaves a lot of steam out. This dries out the rice and it does not cook very well. However, THIS rice cooker is perfect. It takes about 12 minutes to cook, but you need to leave it for another 10 minutes or so to steam properly. If someone is complaining that their rice was wet, this is probably what they did. Let it steam for the extra few minutes and the rice will be perfect. This rice cooker is absolutely tiny. You can see my hand in the photo covering the whole top (and I don't have large hands). I was worried it would be too small, but it's actually perfect for me. This cooks 1.6 cups of rice (Japanese rice cups are 3/4 of an American cup size). 0.5-1 cup of rice is enough for one person. I only ever cook for two and even 1.6 cups worth of rice is on the bigger side that what I need for two. I love this because it can be put away in a cupboard and not take up much space, where my old rice cooker took up a lot of space. There are a few things you should know before buying this.... * There is no on/off switch on the device, so you will need to plug it out when you want to turn it off completely. * The top cover is not messy, but steam does accumulate in between the top parts which are difficult to clean. You can see on my picture that the metal part of the top cover does not separate so it is hard to get into there to wash it. This part is only water, so you can rinse it easily. You might be able to disconnect these two parts, but it doesn't look like you can. * The plastic rice spoon does not fit inside, so you can't leave it inside to put it away. I put it in my cutlery drawer. The rice measuring cup does fit in there though. * The power cable is fine, but is messy to put away. I used a little strip of velcro to wrap it up tightly so when I put it in the cupboard, it doesn't catch on everything and knock it over. Overall, well worth buying if you want a small rice cooker that is easy to use, clean, and store.

A must have in every kitchen
I bought this rice cooker as a travel companion as we could not bring our large multi-cooker with us. We eat a lot of rice in our household and I wanted an effortless way of cooking it. After some research I stumbled onto this product and for the price, I had to try it. I've been using it regularly over the last three weeks and have noticed a few issues with it. This is my review on the item. I've only used this to cook white basmati rice. I am unsure how well it cooks different types of rice. The pros: -You can easily make up to 4 portions of rice within this. -It's simple to use, all you have to do is flick the switch and you're cooking rice. -It's very easy to clean โ though we're unsure if the non-stick pan is dishwasher safe. I've not seen any information on it. -Comes with a measuring cup and a rice spoon. The cons: -It has burned the rice on the bottom of the pan on a few occasions. I began manually timing the rice myself so to avoid this from happening and wasting rice. -The lid is a little fiddly to get on. -The first time I made rice, there was a strong smell of burning rubber coming off the machine. It has since disappeared but it was something that surprised me. -The lid gets hot too touch, so you may accidentally burn yourself when taking it off. I've always used a tea-towel to remove it with. -Water pools from the lid onto any surface you place it on. My final verdict is, if you're on a budget this is a good buy but if you can stretch it I'd recommend getting a different rice cooker, especially one with and LED display and customisable cook times and programs for if you're making different types of rice. I tend to use a Redmond Multicooker at home on the grain setting. It makes perfect rice every time.

Cheapest for a reason
Just about does what it needs to do, but don't expect the little LED lights to work reliably past the 3rd or 4th time using it. Or the switch to make a sound that let's you know it's on - or finished. There's a reason this is the cheapest rice cooker on Amazon. Already starting to rust on the bottom after a month or so of use. Not expecting it to last much longer.

Operates on 220V
I was not expecting a small kitchen appliance sold and delivered in the US to be 220V. May have missed this in the fine print.
