Ignore the review with the snapped string on delivery. That pic appears to show the strap on the uke which it doesn’t come attached therefore I assume this person has played it, snapped the string and had no clue so decided to return the order. I have a £200 Bushman Soprano uke, and a £500 Mele Tenor uke. This Donner Concert uke is amazing for £45. The strings it comes with sound nice once tuned and played for a while, which stretches them out. I still may swap the strings for more expensive, firmer strings. The neck is smooth and the overall build is great. It looses points though for the positioning of the strap button on the neck by the 12th fret. If you play high up you can feel it. Whilst writing this I can see that it can be unscrewed and removed so if not using a strap it resolves the issue. All round though I would recommend this ukefor beginners (to get a nice start) and for intermediates not looking to pay hundreds for an instrument. This is for my little niece for Christmas, and after testing it I’m confident she’ll love it. * the gig bag is decent too and comes with a great DT2 tuner of which I’ve ordered another for myself.

Arrived within 2 days. A well packaged parcel. The Ukelele is brilliant, sounds good, complete with accessories. I downloaded a free app for tuning the uke. The app was more reliable than the one provided. I didn’t mind it however because it was a good deal.

I am super impressed by this starter kit. Everything is in lovely natural packaging, the tuner is a life saver and comes with a battery 2032 coin but I did not find it until after I'd brought some more! The ukulele itself is so pretty and makes a lovely sound. It arrived yesterday and I've been practising all day walking around and learning a song that I know and now my fingers are sore so think it's safe to say I'm hooked on it! Enjoy

I’m glad I invested in this ukulele my son loves it and we have had so many compliments. It’s perfect for all the family to play from my son that’s a beginner and my sister in law who’s advanced! Also I bought it because it’s real wood which makes a big difference in the sound

This product deserves 5 stars, it's beautiful for a beginner such as me. It's nicely packed in a box, with all the extras. It's not too small, which is great and I can't wait to learn how to play! I almost wrote a very bad review, because it's extremely hard to get in touch with anyone at Amazon. I happily ordered the product, got the message that it was delivered with a message: "We've delivered your parcel through your letterbox" This is impossible, as our letterbox has the following dimensions: 40 cm x 3 cm. I found the box thrown on the pavement by accident. I don't know what issue has Hermes, but delivery is not up to standard.

I have bought this ukulele for my daughter for her birthday. I can't comment on how it sounds etc as it is not her birthday until next week. When it arrived I opened the box to check it, the ukulele is absolutely lovely and appears of really good quality. I was also delighted with all the little extras that were included, tuner, strap, picks and extra strings etc. I highly recommend and I really can't wait for my daughter to open this beautiful gift.

It's a perfect bundle for someone like me who wanted to start a hobby without spending too much in case it didn't work out. As it happens I am enjoying it. The Uke is neat, with a nice tone, plain but smart. I can tune it myself easily and I can keep it protected in the case. A really amazing buy for the money.

Feels and sounds great. A lot of accessories for the price. The tuner works well, but rarely use it, since the app I use to learn comes with one as well. Based on that even for daily practices it prompts me to re-tune, it is not unusual that they de-tune fast. However, most of the times it is still in tune, so no big complains there either. Can recommend it, especially for complete beginners!

Prodotto eccellente. Il suono è bellissimo. Ero indeciso se comprare una guitalele o un ukulele, alla fine ho preso la guitalele ma l'ho dovuta restituire: non ha l'estensione di una chitarra e il suono non è granché, oltre al fatto che intonarla è un'impresa siccome non è molto diffusa. Ho deciso quindi di ripiegare sull'ukulele ed è stata un'ottima scelta. Online ci sono molti più tutorial per ukulele. Vi consiglio vivamente di prendere un ukulele oppure una chitarra vera e propria, sia per la quantità di materiale didattico disponibile sia per il tipo di registro sonoro più comune. Sono felicissimo di questo acquisto: il suono è nitido e allo stesso tempo dolce. Peccato solo che nel kit non ci sia il capotasto, che ho dovuto comprare a parte. Il prezzo è contenuto rispetto ad altri modelli, ma la qualità è eccezionale. In più, l'imballaggio di Amazon era davvero enorme e di ottima qualità: appena l'ho visto sono rimasto a bocca aperta. Anche la custodia dell'ukulele è ben imbottita, perfetta per portarlo in viaggio senza pensieri.
