This review is mostly based on my 6-year-old son's opinion. As I opened the jar I smelled a fairly pleasant fruity (blackcurrant as stated by the producer) scent but also quite "artificial". I understand from the ingredients it is a natural flavour, as I have already used Super Star before I can see they have improved their description. The main ingredients for immune support purposes are Vitamin C, Zinc Gluconate, Tri Sodium Citrate, Di-Calcium Phosphate, Citric Acid, Elderberry Extract, Blackcurrant Flavour (Natural), and Folic Acid. My son likes it, I have asked him if it had a sweet taste, and he reported a sweet and sour taste. It is hard but easy to chew. To be given one each day. The supply is for 60 days. At the moment it costs £ 4.46 in full price, about £2.20 each month which is worth it.

My kids always seemed to have some sort of bug. I got these and they don't seem to have been as sick recently. I obviously can't say it's directly down to these but the timing is right. Both kids ate them without any complaint about taste (which is a great rarity in our house)

Each chewable tablet measures about 1cm and is easy to chew, according to my 4-yr old. A bottle is good for two months' supply. It has no aftertaste or foul scent. My child said it tasted like berries and kept asking for more. I'm not a healthcare expert, so I rely on reliable websites, such as the NHS or my GP, to get information about this kind of supplement. According to a well-known health and lifestyle website, the dosage of each serving is enough to reap the benefits of vitamin C and folic. Moreover, he had no adverse effects after taking it for over a week. Recommendable.

i thought i would try one of these myself first before giving to our son. took in the morning, fantastic taste and no issues at all. can't say i noticed any immediate changes, but more importantly nothing bad. according to the label, made and tested in the uk... not sure why, but that adds some confidence due to the very strict health and safety regulations and quality control (unlike some other countries). gave to our son next day, no issues. will carry on.

Avoid - these taste so sour they would be impossible for a young child to take!!
