A wahl rechargeable beard grooming kit. Wahl is always good quality. Holds the charge well. A number of attachments enabling different length of beard. Love it.

Cuts well, easy to use, lasts well on the battery. Plastic trim guides are awfull. Don't fit the trimmer well and fall off in use. Frustrating as they feel very cheap, whilst the trimmer feels premium. Useful item, wouldn't buy another one.

The price makes all the difference. This is virtually disposable. So you can ignore the tacky silver finish and the Xmas-cracker accessories, the cheapo stand that only sort-of holds the accessories in place. What surprised me was the sturdy cutting head that feels much more professional than the Babyliss I had before that was useless and failed after a few months. This Wahl works much better. Once I'd figured out for myself how to attach the adjustable head (the microscopic multi-language instructions are useless), I realised that it does a pretty efficient job. I haven't tried the other attachments yet since getting them on and off is no pleasure and they're so flimsy-feeling they are almost certain to snap if you do it too often. Well, maybe not. Who knows? Oh, and you get a tiny bottle of oil for the blades, which is a nice touch. This fits into its own slot in the stand. I doubt this would stand up to power clipping or hair cutting, but for a bit of detail tidying up, I reckon this works well and is great value. I do wonder how long the attachments will last though. (UPDATE OCT 2014: this must be sturdier than I thought because it's still intact and working perfectly after more than three years. Definitely a good buy.)

Die lieferung hat etwas gedauert...im Angebot war nicht zu erkennen das das Teil aus England kommt. Aber egal, das Warten hat sich gelohnt. Für den Preis von 8,60 plus 2 Euro Versand kann man wirklich nicht meckern. Ganz sicher gibt es bessere Rasierer...aber sie sind nicht annähernd soviel besser wie sie teurer sind. Ich habe lange hin und her gelesen in den Rezensionen der Artikel anderer Anbieter und Hersteller. Zum Ende blieb nur der hier als (Reise)Rasierer angebotene oder sein Pendant aus gleichem Hause/Marke mit Akku-Betrieb. Ich entschied ich für dieses Modell. Ausgelegt für 2 AA-Batterien. Der Grund dafür ist denkbar einfach. (Rasier)Technisch bieten die anderen teureren Akku-Geräte keinerlei Vorteile. Im Gegenteil. Von den extrem teuren LiOn-Akku-Geräten abgesehen besitzen die einfachen Akku-Geräte simple Netzteile als "Ladegeräte" mit all den damit verbundenen Nachteilen. Wer sich ein wenig damit auskennt weiß worauf ich hinaus will. Für den "Reise-Rasierer" hingegen kann ich meine eh vorhanden AA-Akkus verwenden die ich in meinen vorhanden Prozessorladegerät auflade. Dieser Lader versorgt auch meine Digicam, das Blitzgerät und andere Geräte im Haushalt mit geladenen AA-Eneloop-Akkus. Wenn schon Akku-Geräte...dann welche mit Standart-Akkus verwenden.
