I have an old Thinkpad that has always had fan trouble. Something wrong beyond the 2 replacement fans I've fitted over years. I had planned to junk the whole laptop when the last one stopped working but this cooler is brilliant. Where a T480 (Intel Core I5-8350U) would regularly hit 95c to 98c .... now with this cooler it rarely gets over 50c even running a seriously CPU intensive job. It's by no mean silent but not offensively loud and without it- this laptop would have been broken up for spares and scrapped.

This cooling pad exceeded my expectations. It does its job and it is way more quiet than a regular desk cooling fan. I am happy with this purchase abd I have been using it every day through this hot summer with no issues so far.

So I purchased this in March 2021, it's now January 2025. I've used it almost daily throughout that time. My thoughts are, initially, it was amazing. It did exactly what I wanted it to do, it was quiet, it did cool my laptop down considerably - fantastic. Ultimately though, at this price point you can't expect something with amazing longevity. For well over a year now it has been very loud, often requiring a dense shake to quieten it up. I've cleaned the dust out of it multiple times since it started being problematic but it hasn't fixed it. I think age and the amount of use has simply caught up with it. I've been saying to myself for sometime I really need to buy another one of these, and today I finally looked and here it was, top of the pile still! I'll probably be buying a different cooling pad this time, but the reason my review is quite high is because at this price point you can't really complain for 2 solid years of service, and then it still working beyond that just with a few issues (mainly noise and effectiveness of the fans).

I actually love it for the reasons below: It arrived one day earlier than expected, nicely wrapped in bubblewrap, inside a neat productbox. Its simple, lightweigt, yet sturdy enough to support my 17,3 inch ASUS ROG laptops' bulk and weight It is pretty silent despite its triple fan action. Its half the price than cooler pads of some other brands that are less performing. I did expect more/faster airflow as some reviewers correctly stated, but for me, given the large airintakes of my laptop, its airflow is enough to effectively cool it down 10 to 15 degrees Celcius in contrary to the experience of some other reviewers here. The reason for that imo is that for my laptop in specific, the fans are in the optimal position in relation with the air intake grill; the lower left fan blows straight in my laptops main air-intake. The result is effective cooling in my case. tip: check the position of your (main) air-intake grill at the bottom of your laptop before you buy any active cooling pad, make sure you buy a cooler which fans are most ideally positioned for your laptop, if they are not, the cooling is indeed minimal, most people don't think about that but its important! The blue leds... you love it or you hate it, I honestly don't hate it, nor love it, its there and it doesn't bother me, I don't use my laptop to watch movies but I can understand that in that case it could be slightly bothersome. The fact of the matter is: its a gimmick and of no use, you don't even see them when a laptop is sitting on top of it, especially a big one. For me its no reason to refrain from buying though... it would have been if the leds were pink. ;-) This is a review based on the first hours of use since it just arrived yesterday, if ever something about it fails in the next couple of days/weeks/months, I will adapt my review and the score. As for now: I reccomend it, just be sure to check the position of your laptops air intake grill first and compare it to this -or any- coolers fanposition!

Wow, what a lovely looking cooling pad. Never heard of such a thing before until my MacBook Pro got very hot in the current heatwave. Very hot !. Google mentioned cooling pads ?. I found this model on Amazon. It looked good, the price was a very reasonable £23 99. Mine was delivered today. Connected in a minute, my laptop now sits on my lap keeping both myself & my laptop nice & cool, thanks to the 3 attractive blue illuminated & silent fans. Highly recommended. I can't believe i have not had this comfortable addition to my laptop before.

This fan cooler for laptops is really good value for money and does a great job of keeping your laptop cool when on long gaming or creative work sessions. I was dubious about how good it would be given the relatively cheap price, but honestly it is spot on - lightweight yet more than sturdy enough, and most importantly works very effectively. It does have some noise from the fans - but no more so that you would hear from the laptops internal fans - indeed for my own laptop, the fans on this fan cooler are quite a bit less noisy than the laptop's fans themselves. There are non-intrusive blue LED lights to show when it is on, and is operated by a simple on/off switch on the back. You can also use it as a pass-through for a USB if you are short on USB sockets (for example a wireless mouse dongle) Very happy with this - don't be put off by the cheap price, it's effective, robust and does what it's supposed to - why pay more?

So I spent a while looking for the best option for my MacBook Pro. Couldn’t find anything “standout” or that wasn’t clearly “Sponsored”. Also the heat build up in my MacBook Pro 2019 is specifically at the rear under the screen. Most of the fans available target everywhere else but here. I went for the least “gimmicky” option. Don’t really need Blackpool seafront flashing lights nor did I want to spend a chunk of money on something that isn’t effective. My initial thoughts on this are it’s cheap, affordable, light but fairly well built. I wouldn’t want to drop it on a hard floor but then this applies to most things. I subscribe to a well known “Mac app” that gives me an option of viewing the cpu temperature. I use very cpu intensive software in my music studio and often see my cpu temp spike when it’s pushed hard and often hear my internal MacBook fans whirring away. I like the fact you can use rear legs on this to raise your macbook away from the desktop creating a nice gap for ventilation. You can hear the fan kick in but it’s not off putting or distracting. The cooling part - in my honest opinion it’s very very much dependent on the temperature of your room. I know this may sound obvious but it’s true. So for example if you have your heating on and your room is hot this will hinder matters and will not allow the fan to do much for you at all. But what I’ve found is that if you lower your heating temp in your studio/office, with a bit of ventilation and use this cooling pad with the rear legs raised then you will see it work ok. I’ve noticed if I do this then my cpu temp does not spike quite as high as before. Not night and day but it is most definitely slightly cooler. So for me at this price it’s “ok”. I feel the only genuine external option for this would be a small air conditioner to provide cold air direct to the rear - I’ve not found an option like this (yet).

I have a 15.6" Gigabyte laptop, and it fits perfectly. A 17" laptop would likely hang over the edges, which isn't necessarily a big deal but might annoy some. The unit works out of the box, no faffing, and I plug in my USB mouse into the spare port on the cooler as it's in a better position than the one on my laptop. The fans are indeed quiet, although my laptop fans run anyway when under load so there certainly isn't any more noise. The cooler fans are supposed to take the place of the laptop fans being on, but the laptop is certainly cooler generally, which is a good thing. The LEDs can't be turned off, but as they are blocked by the laptop, this isn't such a big deal to me, nor do I use the laptop in a completely dark room where they could be distracting. Your mileage, of course, may vary. The build quality is fine, the mesh is thick enough, my laptop doesn't slip anywhere when on the cooler at it's 'legs out' angle. Would recommend.

Questa ventola/cooling pad per il PC ha delle peculiarita' molto interessanti: 1 - Contenuto. Il prodotto arriva in scatola propria, con cartolina di benvenuto e cavo USB di alimentazione. 2 - Caratteristiche. Questo prodotto ha 3 ventole, 2 prese USB (1 per la Alimentazione, l'altra per qualsiasi altra cosa), uno Switch "on e Off" e il cavo di alimentazione Incluso. Alla base ci sono 4 gommini antiscivolo e dei piedini apribili per aumnetare l'inclinazione e facilitare l'afflusso dell'aria (anch'essi con piedini di gomma). 3 - Istruzioni. La scatola viene senza istruzioni dettagliate, ma non necessita di grosse spiegazioni per l'utilizzo (una spiegazione rapida di utilizzo e' nel video allegato a questa recensione) 4 - Rumore. Quasi Impercettibile. 5 - Qualita'. La ventola e' costruita in plastica e in un materiale che sembra alluminio (per renderlo piu' resistente). Sembra di buona qualita', per il prezzo non e' niente male. 6 - Potere di Raffreddamento. La ventola riesce a rinfrescare qualsiasi tipo di pc (puoi trovare un piccolo esempio del vento che crea nel video allegato in questa recensione). Ho provato 5 altre ventole prima di questa, da quando l'ho trovata non ho avuto piu' alcun problema. Addirittura in giornate calde metto il Cellulare nello spazio creato dai piedini rialzati, cosi rinfresca anche quello. Molto efficace. 7 - Problemi: ------------ La mancanza di gommini dalla parte del PC, non c'e' attrito e quindi potrebbe cadere in determinate angolazioni ------------ Inoltre questi gommini dopo un largo utilizzo si staccano, anche se dopo molto tempo. ------------ I led non possono essere disattivati 8 - Per chi e' questa ventola. Questa ventola e' per il consumatore medio/alto, compresi grafici e Gamers. Sicuramente non indicato per professionisti con un utilizzo CPU al 100% per tutto il giorno; per loro consiglierei un raffreddamento alternativo. Conclusione: Ho provato diverse ventole prima di trovare questa; credo che sia un elemento indispensabile nel vostro arsenale. Al momento credo sia uno dei migliori prodotti nel suo genere come rapporto qualita'/prezzo. In definitiva, consiglio questa ventola vivamente, non fatevela scappare!

Mon dernier modèle de tablette réfrigérante me paraissait efficace. (SK Games 17'' achetée sur Amazon) Puis ses ventilateurs sont devenus très (trop) bruyants (4 mois d'utilisation) et j'ai voulu en changer pour ce modèle. Ma mémoire m2 est passée de 51°C à 31° moyenne journalière (de 67°C à 41° en pic de jeu !!!!) 20° de rafraîchissement REEL sur les composants internes de mon 17'' SLI GTX980m, dont les cartes video atteignent 88°C en jeu intensif ! (chiffres statistiques issus de Hard Disk Sentinel 4.71 Pro) En outre ---> super silencieux, j'ai d'abord cru qu'il ne marchait pas !!! Un super produit, à valider dans le temps (quand les ventilos feront du bruit :) ) Forcément, le PC dépasse un peu, mais comme avec toutes les tablettes dédiées aux 17'' (soit 38 cm d'empattement max, largement suffisant) Rien à voir avec mon ancienne tablette qui, dès son installation, outre son poids surprenant, était très bruyante (plus que le PC hors pic). A tester - vu son prix très raisonnable.

The best cooling pad I have used so far. Best part is that there is an on/off switch. The large fans work well and fairly quietly. I'm happy with this purchase.
