I love this movie! I love both versions but I prefer the directors cut because it is more of a collaboration between the director, William Friedkin, and the author of the original book, William Blatty. I remember the first time I watched it I was 13 and it scared me so much. It didn’t help that we also watched the Blair witch project thinking it was a true story. The exorcist is definitely in my top 5 favourite movies, and I’m pretty glad I have it on blu Ray now.
