Protects fine
This case will protect your earbuds just fine, but be aware if you use the carabiner to attach it to something such as a purse or backpack, the case pops open and your earbuds can fall out. I would like to find a case that prevents earbud case from being able to open up. I almost lost my earbuds a couple times this way.
