These bookends are exactly what I needed! They’re strong, sturdy, and hold even my heaviest books upright without slipping or bending. You can really feel the quality, they’re solid metal, not flimsy like some others I’ve tried. Great value for the price, and they come as a pair, so even better! Highly recommend!

These are quite simple 'L' shaped metal finished in black but seem quite strong and work.

These bookends have a good weight, they are quite compact, look nice on the shelf and do their job well. I was especially, pleased given the price, they are good value for money. I've used them on my upper shelves, and they stood the test against my cat, who decided to take a flying leap onto the books on the shelf. Books remained exactly where they were supposed to and no cats or books were harmed. They are quite a simple and clean design, and though sturdy are quite slim. I like the look.

Comes in a pair and does the job. Well made with a smooth black finish, which is discreet (almost invisible) when in place on a bookshelf not filled to the ends, or on the top of a shelf with no sides. Bought a couple more for other shelves around the house.
