Halloween Classic Face and Body Paint, Orange Colour, Water Based, Easily Washable, SFX Makeup

Bought the white Snazaroo face paint for an event and it worked really well. It goes on smoothly, gives good coverage and is easy to build up if you want a stronger white. It was easy to apply and came off without too much trouble afterwards. The paint also stayed on well during use without feeling overly uncomfortable.

I purchased the Snazaroo Face Paint in Turquoise as I was going to a fancy dress party as a 'Smurfette'. There were a multitude of different shades of blue available but I finally selected Turquoise which was the perfect colour for a Smurf! This was the first time I have ever used a face and body paint so I was not sure what to expect. I purchased two paints to ensure I had enough to give good coverage for my upper body, face and arms. I didn't even use half of one 18ml paint, as it gives excellent coverage. It was easy to apply, I simply wet my hand and applied it, I did not bother to use a sponge. The reason I selected the Snazaroo brand was it seemed to be a good reliable brand with good reviews. I was a bit cautious about using the paint on my body as I have previously heard horror stories about people who have covered themselves in body paint and got poisoned due to their skin being unable to breathe. This did not happen to me, the paint is non-toxic and safe to use and I did not cover my whole body at any rate. It felt surprisingly comfortable to have body paint on, it dried quickly and as I said before, gave excellent coverage. It was smooth to touch and did not irritate my skin. My only concern during the evening was that when I went to the loo and washed my hands, they remained blue, so I did wonder if I was going to be stained blue for the rest of my life!! However it did wash off quite easily when I got home, I simply hopped in the shower and scrubbed down. I have to confess that it does take a lot of scrubbing to remove the final tinges of this paint, although it is waterbased it does tend to faintly stain the skin!! I stayed in a hot shower for at least an hour, which I must say was very relaxing! But not what everyone wants to do when they get home from a late night party! Some of the paint did rub off onto my white dress during the course of the evening, but I put the dress in the wash and the colour came straight out, not even leaving a stain, so I was very pleased with that. Out of consideration for the host of the party I did bring my own towel though, so that when I washed my hands I would not mark their towels when drying my hands! I have to say the colour did look amazing. I was worried that as my skin started to sweat it would run or look funny but it was fine - even my underarms were fine!! My face did have some slightly lighter patches on but it wasn't very noticeable and everyone told me how great I looked, so I was happy with the paint and will use it again!! Since then I have used another Snazaroo paint, the Bright Green one. Again, it went on well, gave fantastic coverage and looked great but although it washed off easily it did stain the skin slightly, but this seems to be the only flaw. (You can read my review under Snazaroo - 18ml Bright Green Face Paint). I would use Snazaroo again, unless I was to discover an equally high performing paint that did not leave the skin stained!! The parts that seemed to absorb the paint most were my face and hands. I did consider wearing gloves and carefully applying foundation to my face to conceal the colour, however by the time I needed to go out the next day I was satisfied I wasn't tinged blue anymore!! Overall, I would definitely use the paint again, I found it a lot of fun, gave great coverage and looked really good. The only flaw is that you will be left with a tinge of colour after it has been washed off. However it only seemed to affect face and hands, not the rest of my body!! Go for it....go blue!!

Excellent product that arrived fast, my large friend and I have used snazaroo paints for years for Halloween do's (and dont's), it's easy to apply, the colours are rich and vibrant (well black isn't very vibrant, but it is a good deep black) it covers your skin perfectly and easily lasts through even the sweatiest drunken stupours you can throw up at it. unlike other paints i've used in the past it doesnt dry up and crack and flake off, it stays looking like you just applied it right up until you take it off. an individual pot will last forever as well, as mentioned earlier my large friend once covered his whole body in green Snazaroo paint for a Hulk outfit and i don't think he even used a third of the pot. it now lies safely tucked in his drawer of other things that he bought, used once, and then forgot about, like his wedding ring! taking the stuff off is not a problem either, it just washes off with soap and water, i have only used it on my face though, when my friend washed it off he had to take a bath and obviously the bathroom looked a little green to say the least by the end of it, it's not a fault of the product though, if anything it only demonstrated just how far this stuff can go. Great buy, highly recommend.

This is fine, gentle on skin and great colour, but I really struggled to apply it. I'm not a makeup professional, this was just for Halloween. But if you have limited experience like me, you may want to either go for a cream or a much cheaper alternative. I found this too solid to apply. By conrast some of the cheaper halloween makeup went straight on. I would have preferred to have used this on my childs skin, but it didn't cover well. Shame. Next time I may try this brand again but a cream or something else.

Bought this to dress up for a fundraising children's disco and it didn't disappoint. I'd read previous reviews claiming it stains when washed off and saw the tip to use a white base first... After a good shower last night I was fully expecting to still be a bit green this morning, but I was pleasantly surprised to see the white base worked... On my face at least, my fingers are a little bit green around the nails from application so I recommend wearing gloves for putting it on. I found dampening the paint and letting it sit for a minute to absorb the water best, I also recommend decent brushes or sponge over the small round sponges of the same brand as they're a bit too porous and doesn't give a smooth application. For a first attempt I was really happy though. It does feel quite dry on the skin though and by the end of the day I couldn't wait to remove it, it's like a face mask that dries and tightens, only without the beauty benefits ha! Definitely recommend though, it worked well, looked good and freaked out enough kids to make it worthwhile! 2023 update... they lasted an entire year without use and came out again today for the halloween disco. I forgot all my helpful hints from last year and had green fingernails, a porous sponge application and dried out face after 6 hours just like last year 😂 Can't knock it though, I had a guy ask for a selfie with me so it must've looked okay 😉 (pics 3 and 4 are 2023)

10/10 Body Paint Farbe, ich hatte Anfangs bedenken mit der Deckkraft oder dem Abwaschen. In beiden Punkten bin ich sprachlos gewesen. Deckt als hätte man sich den Kopf in Acrylfarbe getaucht und lässt sich mit ein bisschen Schrubben RÜCKSTANDSLOS entfernen. Top Produkt, empfehle ich gerne weiter!

La couleur est magnifique

Soffro molto il caldo, quindi sudo parecchio, ma questo colore è riuscito a resistere, quasi in modo impeccabile oserei dire, per 5 ore consecutive. Per lo struccaggio son sincera, inizialmente ho avuto paura di rimaner macchiata, ma appena tolto il primo strato di colore è venuto via benissimo.. acquisterò assolutamente altri colori

Perfekt metallisk guldfärg. Precis vad jag sökte!
