I don't have a lot of space, so my home office desk (dining table) is also my sketching table. This lamp has honestly been a revelation. Takes up very little space when closed, and when opened up has a large enough illuminated area to cover an A3 sheet. Also, because the light is diffused, and can be swivelled to multiple angles, you don't have to worry about pencil shadow or finding the good sliver of light to work on detail. Very bright and clean light when up full, with multiple light levels to choose from if you want something less stark. Also, the build quality is noticeable and solid. An absolute bargain for the price.

I am delighted with this lamp which arrived today as promised. It gives great light, is very flexible - everything rotates in every direction so its really easy to get the light where I need it. The light quality is bright but not dazzling, and again infinitely adjustable through a touch bar. The off/on switch is again a touch switch located on the lamp base, so no fiddling around to find it on the flex. And above all its a modern and stylish design - much as I love the old triple jointed desk lamps this one just looks so smooth and swish in comparison, so its a great addition to my desk!

Excellent light as I paint watercolor portraits of animals and in the dark Scottish evenings (or to be honest, days ) it can be a challenge to get the right lighting. It gives me a choice of brightness settings but also gives a true colour as this can be an issue when painting under artificial light. I love how versatile it is and flexible , tilting and twisting to where I need it. My only niggle is the length of cable. This could be a bit longer as I have to use an extension to get it to my table but that's not a big deal. I'm very happy with this lamp and would highly recommend it.

I recently bought this lamp and unfortunately in the first instance was broken. I contacted neon mart, who sent out another lamp with no quibbles. Their customer service was excellent. - The lamp gives off a very bright white light. Not really ideal for a bedside lamp, but would be good for a computer desk or a desk used for arts and crafts etc. - It looks fairly stylish, but it does tend to collect dust fairly easily. - The touch buttons work well, although there are only a few different settings, all of which are fairly bright. A slightly dimmer setting would have been good - The swivel, which doesn't turn a full 180 degrees so the section of the lamp with the light in can be put back to back with the main vertical section (which would have been nice), still gives a good range of angles. All in all, a decent lamp with minor drawbacks.

This light was purchased to illuminate music on top of a piano. It does this job very well, being tall enough to sit above an A4 manuscript in portrait, flexible enough to sit at a virtually 90 degree Z (so the controls can be accessed outside the manuscript rather than under it) and adjustable enough to easily produce the correct level of light. Light colour is a very pleasing, without being antiseptic, white that spreads out well from the strip at an angle identical to a traditional incandescent brass strip light. The light is very well balanced and stable in all arrangements of the joints. Finally the plug in transformer is only a little deeper than a standard mains plug so I had no issues hiding it under the base of the piano. I would recommend this product without reservation.

I very rarely write a review but this purchase has surprised me given the little cost involved and moved me to write this review. Aesthetically, the design is great - it could have come straight form the Chelsea Design Centre Practically brilliant - two adjustable arms which means I have the light where I want it Simple - On off and adjust your luminosity Brightness - anything between soft and bright In all a cracking 5 Star product in all respects - Well done!

I use this lamp for drawing in the evening and for brightening my workspace during the day. The lamp is sturdy but minimalist looking. The touch pad is excellent. It is highly adjustable, both in terms of brightness and lamp arm position. It's brilliant for doing detailed work or reading. However, it doesn't provide much 'ambient' light, and at most brightness levels is too bright to have shining in your face.
