Reliable longevity in a smoke alarm
I’ve been buying these CR123 Duracell lithium batteries for our smoke alarm for several years now, having ordered them three times. Each battery has lasted between two and three years before needing replacement — exactly what you’d hope for in a safety-critical device. Duracell is the brand I trust for this application. When it comes to smoke alarms, I wouldn’t risk a cheaper alternative. These fit perfectly and have never let me down. It’s worth noting that even though the photo shows CR2, I ordered a CR123 and that is what I received.

Arrived quickly
I needed this battery for a camera I had forgotten I owned. It had a 24mm film in it so I bought the battery and processed the film. Shouldn't have bothered.

Exactly What I needed
I needed this battery to be able to rewind a very old film in a camera, so that I could see if I could get it developed. Unfortunately, being that the film was very old, none of the pictures really came out, but the battery worked a treat for what I needed it for. The guy in the shop said that my camera was quite a good one, so I'm tempted to buy another film now and continue to use the camera and the battery will get its full use that way.
