Discraft 175 g "Discraft Ultrastar" Frisbee (Bright Red)

I had never previously given much thought to Frisbee quality. A Frisbee is a Frisbee, I had thought. Wrong. My nan always told me: "There's quality in everything" and, it transpires, this wisdom extends to Frisbees. I hadn't chucked one in years but had a hankering recently and plumped for this. It is immense. Gives the truest, purest most satisfying flight I have ever seen: I am utterly addicted. A robust, weighty disc (which, be warned, could cause serious injury if it connects with a child or pet at full pelt) that just feels 'right' in the hand and looks like it'll last a lifetime. Heartily recommended. If you want a Frisbee, look no further.

Proper 175 weight, very good disc

PROS: I had a bright orange one of these for playing Ultimate at university until my godson "borrowed" it and I never saw it again. This one is a worthy replacement that doesn't just become useless in a puff of wind - great at the beach. Nice weight and feel in the hand. Doesn't bleach in sunlight CONS: You become a bit of a magnet for dogs.

I wanted to buy a frisbee that wasn't cheap and flimsy, so I got this one based on all the positive reviews. I was worried at first because the plastic seemed flexible and not as sturdy as other heavy-duty frisbees I've used in the past, but I'm happy to say that it did a great job. It was easy to throw in a straight line over long distances, even when it was windy. I almost bought a light blue one, but I realized that it might get tricky to see against the sky, so I got a bright red one instead.

Great frisbee, flies well, good weight, durable. Stands up to light-moderate breezes really well too. Perfect for tossing around in the backyard. Worth the money compared to the junk you find at stores for under $10.

Amazing frisbee.

I bought this Frisbee for a first date in the park. We had never met in person and I could tell when she first saw me, my date was very unimpressed. Until I pulled out this bad boy. She audibly gasped and said "oh my god" when I gave it a toss while saying "go long, babe". The first throw unfolded in slow motion. I held on the disc loosely, yet firmly. A simple flick of the wrist sent it soaring towards the sun at approximately 55 miles per hour. As it made it's way towards her, slowly gliding back down to earth, she caught it and immediately started crying and saying something like "he's the one, he's the one". It was kind of bizarre to be honest. We played catch back and forth for the next seven hours and after we were done she told me she loved me and gave me a $1000 Best Buy gift card.
