Bought this for a recent trip where I used a rental car and wanted to protect it from dirt and dog hair. Chose the size as it seemed flexible to fit in different car types, as I only had a car category to go on :-). In the end, I drove a New Citroën C3 with my doggies (2 full grown Labradors) in the back seat and we went swimming in the lake on the way and they were wet in the car, no problem thanks to this great product. It was easy to put in place once you have figured out which way around to put it in the car. It took me about 2 tries :-) so less than 10 minutes. I used seat-belt harnesses and liked the feature of the Velcro that allows the seat belt docks to be pulled through so you can click them in easily. the ancors worked as well and in this car where easily to put into the back of the seat. I had a bit of trouble with this when using it temporarily on a BMW 5 er, as the leader seats in the back are really tight and I could not get the ancor through the seats, but the seat cover still worked well and did not slide or move too much.We were driving while it was pretty hot out, and I used the AC of the car. That being said, due to the set up with the seat cover on fixed to the front seats, it did block the air flow to the back a bit and I had to put the blast on pretty high for the dogs to not pant from being too warm. To be fair it was 38-30 degrees, and one always has the option to not attach to the front seats and leave the space open. I liked that option however as it gives mine more space in the back. At the end of the trip, when I removed the seat cover, I made sure to close the velcro straps before pulling the cover out off the car and can truly say that barely any dirt was in the car. Very well made and sturdy, fairly light weight (so easy to take on a trip). Great item and definitely worth the money. Really happy with this product and can only recommend .

## Updated Dec 19 after 12 Months Use ##So after a year of use this is still functioning as it did when first unwrapped, as said in my original review I had some concerns about durability. However after a year of being a permanent fixture in the back of the car it does not have any tears, rips or holes.It is vacuumed every other day depending on where the villainous mud loving cockapoo pictured has decided to go off reservation and is frequently machine washed too.It really does protect the car interior and also acts as a great barrier between the front and back which is especially useful if your dog believes it should ride shotgun, at all times.The only negative is it doesn't also cover the roof since my dog likes to shake off once inside the car as well as outside :)########I had read some of the reviews re durability on this so wanted to give it some time before reviewing. This is fitted to a Volkswagen T-ROC so a small medium SUV, and we have a 14kg or so Cockapoo, that never sits still and always finds any trace of mud, not a big dog but one that prefers to sit in the front seat rather than the back and is always covered in allsorts of water, mud etc and used to try clambering over to the front of the car.Firstly the protector is easy to fit, the straps go round the headrests and the front section as per pictures raises up between the rear and front seats to create a barrier of sorts. This was important for us as as i said the dog always used to try to get into the front despite being seatbelted in, a dog seatbelt harness not a standard seatbelt. This is great because it prevents it from trying so has to settle in the back of the car. The dog gets fidgety and shakes off, has tried to burrow through the cover, jumps in and out of the car and generally treats it like a doormat and the cover has so far withstood any and all efforts to damage it.The fit is great and for general cleaning we usually just remove it from the car and either shake or brush off. It hasnt retained any smells or odours of any kind and we wash it every few weeks in the washing machine.Its just a well designed cover that so far touch wood is both durable and effective in what it sets out to do, which is protect delicate car seats from sharp, often muddy, always fidgety paws. Five stars.

This is a very good cover for my back seats very easy to fit cleaning is also easy without actual removal but i will admit thats my good lady doing itThe material is really up to scratch very hard wearing which i need with my 2 dogs using to rear seats to and fro from the walking area winter is not the best time but a great test fot it i am not reknown for recommendations i believe in the saying one mans meat is anothers poison but i do like this alot

Brilliant item. Universal fit so goes in almost any car. Great material, dogs claws haven't cut or scraped it. Love that it can hang like a v shape, containing the dog, or hang down covering the seat but leaving the floor accessible.
