We appreciate your patience as we address this matter and provide a satisfactory resolution. Please be assured that the tuning of our tongue drums is carefully calibrated before shipping. The majority of drums do not require any adjustments upon receipt. However, due to transportation, there might be a very small number of drums with bent tongues. In such cases, we recommend following the steps below for adjustments. If you find that the tuning issue cannot be resolved through the suggested steps, we are more than happy to offer you a hassle-free return and provide you with a new and fully functioning tongue drum. 1. Remove the soft rubber covering on the bottom of the drum. 2. Use a tuner or tuning app to identify the note produced by the middle tongue and determine if it is flat or sharp. 3. Gently press the middle tongue close to its connection point with the drum using one of the mallets. 4. Check the tuner to see if the pitch has become higher or lower. 5. Continue making slight adjustments by gently pressing on different parts of the tongue until you achieve the desired pitch.
