Since I first posted my review I've revised my opinion somewhat. The anti-leak mechanism requires some care and scalded knuckles, but it does work. I'm in some doubt as to exactly what the 'copper' parts are made from, probably plastic but perhaps the dome is metal, it's hard to tell.Anyway, sorry, I've restored the lost star. Still just not sure it's worth the money.

Instructions for opening it on the inside of press... leading to it being damaged trying to open it for the first time...

Was a little tight at first getting the pouring attachment on at first, so just took the glass out and gave the tabs a pull, fits great now and pours perfectly.

Really good quality. It is a one cup though so no good for a couple. It's looks fab as well.

dreadful, the very worst French press we have ever had, the top is virtually impossible to put on, add to that that it is full of almost boiling water and it is dangerous, I cant believe Bodum have designed such a bad product
