does it work on thread veins? Is it possible to use it for cauterizing them?

I tried it on a vein on my temple and it worked. Tried it on another vein on my thigh and it did not work. Speaking as someone who has been to a therapist for vein removal via light therapy this is completely different. The cautery stick leaves a burn/sore on the skin that takes quite a long while to heal so it is not a quick fix. However if you have one or two small veins that are bugging you and you can stand a long healing time then you might like to try it. Just be aware that when you use this stick on anything it does leave a red mark that takes several weeks/months to vanish completely. I use this stick mainly for warts or bumps on the skin.

How many times can this be used?

Hello, the item is classed as single use as the tip is not replaceable however if using on one person or for other purposes, the internal battery is good but it depends again on how long the burn time is each time the item is activated. Sorry for the vague answer but there are many variables to consider. We do offer a pen which replacement tips are available and for that you just have to change the batteries. Mike, Miller

Can I use these to get rid of normal raised skin moles? I've seen it done on you tube, but do you need antibiotics afterwards?

Hello, we are unable to offer medical advice regarding antibiotics and skin moles however I can confirm this device is used for those procedures and other procedures such as skin tags. The tip gets extremely hot so you may feel discomfort unless you use some sort of lidocaine to numb the area first which is what a GP would normally do.

must have leg/foot rest

This was a must have for after my foot operation. So comfy and a good height that can be adjusted. The handles are a good addition. I wasnt so keen on the colour wish there had been more options.
