I got this for my baby’s first Christmas, a few tips would be to a) kneed it in your hands before rolling b) use a rolling pin to get a smooth finish, not the one provided to avoid creases & dents, c) use a nail file to finish off the edges when you remove it from the ring. The end result after doing all that was perfect.Would make a great new baby gift. I’ve done this for two children now, newborn foot prints are easier to achieve than hand prints - that’s just my personal experience. I did a hand print of my 7 month old which was easier to apply the necessary pressure.

I am disappointed with this product. We got a handprint, but the result isn't a clay decoration, it's more like a foam disc. It's a shame.The rolling pin provide is not big enough as so will leave marks. Use a full sized rolling pin.You can remould and redo the handprint if needed which is useful when working with a baby.You have to push down the child's hand firmly to get a good imprint.There is plenty of the foamclaystuff.I wouldn't buy this again.

Really disappointed - this was a Christmas present from my 17 month old Grandson for his Mummy and Daddy. When I opened the packet a good deal of the plaster was stuck to the foil and had to scrape it off, then wasn't ideal trying to roll it flat without marking it. My little Grandson is quite heavy but the indentation was very poor and to be honest I would not recommend or buy again. Such a shame as with the postage feel I have wasted my money and not sure if I am going to let him give it or throw it away.

Bought this as a gift for my sister in law when she had her baby as something a bit different as everyone usually buys clothes and toys, she really liked it. Not seen the finished product but it was well received and a nice little keep sake for her.

Can create a precious keepsake easily. Found it easy enough to use (even being newborn-sleep deprived) though took several attempts to get decent enough footprint (baby had to be asleep) but probably my poor technique! Just a shame it isn't a little bigger so you can write on it however for the money, it does an ample job. Would recommend if you are looking for a cheap, easy keepsake.

If your reading this then pls do yourself and favour and don't waste your money. My baby hand prints have out badly. Not worth the money.
