Crazy Cat Colombian Ground Coffee

The package arrived the next day, super fast delivery! This is a beautiful coffee, it’s smooth and not bitter at all. I would love to try other strengths from this range now. It is slightly pricey, but a well flavoured coffee indeed! I love how the aroma fills the house first thing in the morning when you need that hit to start the day. I’m very pleased with this brand and would purchase again, this time possibly with strength number 4.

Oh my goodness LOVE LOVE LOVE this coffee! Just got into percolated coffee and was using another small company brand which was lovely, but a bit to strong for us! So wanted to look for another Brand of coffee but didn’t want a Named Brand! The reason we bought this brand to try was the Name really , as sadly our Cat died last week and came across this coffee and the name was fab, and put a smile on mine and my partners face after such a sad week. But have to say we Loved the coffee, was strong but mellow too. We’ve nearly used all our first bag ,so will be putting a second order later on. Definitely recommended, thanks Buddy’s Mummy

Really nice coffee. Sweet tasting with no bitter aftertaste. Probably one of the nicest coffees I've tried so they've sourced this well. I'm guessing much of the cost must be getting the coffee ground on such a small scale and postage. I'd be willing to pay over the odds for this, but it's a little too expensive at the time of writing at £7.50! If they lower the cost I'd probably order periodically as a treat. The only other thing I'd say is that it could be ground just a little bit finer so that more flavour is released when used in a cappuccino maker - or, perhaps offer different grades for various machines.

I bought this after having read the description. I liked the idea of a rich creamy sweeter non bitter coffee but I have to say I was quite disappointed. Firstly, the grind is not suitable for a coffee machine like the description says. I would say its a medium grind more ideal for a french press or an aero press. I had to grind it again to make it more suitable for a coffee machine. The taste is more bitter than I thought it would be but it is sweeter than the other brands. Overall I would say its ok but not as good as everyone else made it out to be. I usually buy Delta coffee, a Portuguese brand which is fantastic. I'll finish this bag and then go back to Delta I think.

Really like this coffee. Tastes great. Better than some I’ve tried at 3 times the price. Also like the three bean variety they do. I also like the packaging. This may not be important to some, but the tall slim packet fits perfectly, and unobtrusively in the little space i have reserved for it in the fridge, and is quite robust. Finally we have cats, and have a thing about cats. The reason i initially bought it actually. Well that and the price. So will definitely be ordering some more. And would like to try their other varieties.

Working from home theses days, coffee time is a highlight of my day , so I decided to explore new horizons. Crazy Cat is my favourite new coffee discovery! I love the back -story to the cool packaging, the taste of the coffee is mellow yet rich, without a hint of bitterness. I’m a convert and at such a reasonable price , I am now a regular customer.

Really smooth taste, noticeable difference in quality from brands like Costa, Starbucks etc. The only downside is that the grounds are so fine they can take a while to filter through in an espresso machine, but the wait is worth it!

I’m fairly new to using a French press for my morning coffees. I was a little bit hesitant to try this coffee as usually I find Columbian coffee too weak. But Crazy Cat is actually really nice. I use two tablespoons rather than the recommended one and it makes a nice well rounded flavourful morning coffee. I find myself wanting one in the afternoon too now which is new. The only negative is that the valve on the packaging is right at the top so this makes it difficult to fold over the top of the packet for sealing.

Wir sind jetzt nicht gerade die Kaffeetrinker auf Barista Niveau aber wir haben schon so einige Kaffeesorten ausprobiert. Den Grazy Cat Kaffee habe ich ehrlich gesagt als Gag für meine Frau bestellt weil sie sich wegen unserer 6 Katzen als Grazy Cat Lady bezeichnet. Im Titel des Artikels steht "Gemahlen bis zur Perfektion", das mag sein, dann sollte man aber auch dazu schreiben für welche Art der Kaffee Zubereitung. Wir verwenden ausschließlich den guten alten italienischen Espresso Kocher und für diesen empfinde ich den Mahlgrad als nicht fein genug. Der Kaffee hat nach dem Öffnen der Verpackung einen aromatischen Duft, aber auch der ist nicht so aromatisch wie der Kaffee den wir sonst trinken. Auch nach dem Brühvorgang empfand ich den Kaffeeduft als lecker nicht so intensiv. Das ganze spiegelte sich auch im Geschmack wieder. Geschmacklich lecker aber nicht intensiv, eher mild. Vielleicht haben wir auch nur ein Päckchen erwischt das nicht so optimal geröstet wurde oder schon etwas älter war, keine Ahnung. Im ganzen, konnte uns der Kaffee nicht ganz überzeugen. Dabei liegt dieser Kaffee mit über 8€ für 250gr doch auch schon im hochpreisigen Segment. Als Geschenk für Katzenliebhaber aufgrund des Namen witzig, ansonsten würde ich diesen Kaffee eher nicht bevorzugen.
