Ronseal Wet Rot Wood Hardener 500ml

Literally does what it says on the tin. Applied to the soft wood areas with a brush. Consistency is thin, smells great. Left it over night and checked it this morning. Solid and hard, ready for ronseal wood filler

Very effective wood hardener. Provides an excellent platform for the equally effective use of RONSEAL wood filler, and helps avoid the necessity for awkward and costly wood replacement. Living in an old property with wooden windows, I have used both a lot and will continue to do so,…….no doubt!

It arrived on time, well-packed. Having used this hardener before on wood in an Olen property, I know it is easy to use and affective. It supports any wood affected by water ingress which can then have wood filler (or something similar) applied. Well worth the small investment.

This product has saved many pieces of outdoor wood that was crumbling away, I cannot recommend it enough when used properly. Just be aware that it can stain coloured wood if you don't clean the excess.

They leave out the warnings on the listing about the harmful fumes, how you need to call poison control if you breath in the fumes and how it can irritate your eyes, throat so this nasty product is getting binned.contains High concentrations of Acetone

Aussitôt reçu aussitôt appliqué. L'application du produit sur le bas du montant de portail, appliqué a l'aide de seringue, car inaccessible avec un pinceau. Le bois était pourrit par l'intérieur donc très humide, le produit pénètre très bien dans le bois ( il faut enlever le plus possible de bois pourrit pour faciliter la pénétration ) Il faut attendre 24 à 48 heures pour avoir un bon résultat. Le nettoyage de la seringue le faire avec de l'eau tout de suite, une fois sec la seringue est morte. Résultat de l'application très satisfait du produit.
