Incredible Shine and Precision
I recently tried the MOLOTOW Liquid Chrome Pump Marker Pen, and it’s been a fantastic addition to my collection of art supplies. The 1mm nib provides excellent precision, making it perfect for fine details and adding a touch of metallic shine to my projects. The liquid chrome effect is absolutely stunning – it’s reflective and gives a mirror-like finish that really stands out. The pump-action marker is easy to use, and the ink flows smoothly, creating consistent coverage without any streaks. I’ve used it on a variety of surfaces, including paper and metal, and it works well on both. The only small downside is that it can be a bit tricky to get the perfect flow at first, but once you get the hang of the pump mechanism, it’s easy to control. Overall, I highly recommend this marker for anyone looking for vibrant, high-quality chrome effects in their artwork or craft projects!

Excellent for miniature modelling.
This stuff really does resemble chrome, perfect for modelling for instance the Tamiya range of 1/12 motorcycles or cars have a lot of chrome parts and there will always be noticeable marks where these parts fit together or sometimes the chrome finish they supply is just not quite right. This stuff can be thinned with paint thinners , I use Vallejo and it can then be sprayed with a small airbrush like any modelling paints, just push the nib into a mixing cup and pump it up and down a few times and then add a few drops of thinner. This paint is actually so good and self levelling that some parts can be brush painted and it leaves no brush marks, you can use it straight from the pen or thin it a bit if required, I brush painted the wheels on a Tamiya 1/12 Z750 and the wheels really do look like chromed steel. The results truly look like real chrome and it seems to fairly hard wearing, nothing I have used it on have chipped, worn or gone dull. I am sure this has many uses for many arts and crafts but it certainly is the best stuff I have ever seen at replicating chrome on models.

Excellent chrome-effect paint pens!
For years and years, I've wanted to find a really good way to fix up toys whose chrome / vac-metal finish had worn off over the decades. And then I found some YouTube reviews that featured these Molotow Liquid Chrome Pens (they come in various handy sizes), so I bought a couple of them to try them out. Wow! The YouTube videos don't really do this product justice. You get a decent idea of the end results in the videos, but they're so much better in person. Having tried to photograph some of my own finished projects, it IS rather hard to get good pictures of how well these Molotow Liquid Chrome Pens work. After giving the pens a good shake and spotting the nibs a couple of times, the "liquid chrome" flows nicely. I've never used a paint pen before, but with a little practice, I soon get the hang of it. With a slow, steady hand, you can get excellent, smooth coverage with the paint. Once you've finished painting, leave the project to dry for three to seven days (depending on the thickness of the coat you just put on), and you'll find the finish is nicely set. If you try to handle the newly-painted surface before then, it can smudge horribly and mar the effect. You can also open the pens up and tip the paint into an airbrush (if you have one) for smoother, faster, and more even coverage. You'll need a little practice and patience with these at first, but once you get the hang of them, they really do an amazing job of replicating ultra-shiny chrome / vac-metal finishes. Highly recommended for model-makers, toy customisers, or for people who just want to restore their old Death Star Droid or add some zazz to a project.

Very shiny
I bought this to restore the chrome effect on some raised plastic lettering of an old calculator. I'd thought about using Humbrol silver paint, but it's just not like the proper shiny chrome finish. This is. It goes on really shiny and stays that way. One tip – don't press too hard on the tip to get it going at first or you'll bend it like I did. The tip is a bit small and hard and tends to slip off small raised areas, so you'll need a steady hand. But this is good stuff. Shake well...

Great for customising figures
Really works great on figures. Holds to the surface well, just be careful touching it for atleast a week or 2 as it can dull the shine

Great for making your credit cards legible again!
This pen has a wide use of purposes in Arts and Crafts, but I purchased it for a different reason. My elderly relatives and I struggled with reading the numbers on our credit and bank cards for when making online purchases, due to the numbers wearing off over time through use and storage in wallets/purses. For me, this was an issue when using the "scan card" function to input the payment details that some sites use these days (including Amazon and Apple Pay). So, before helping the relatives, I thought I'd give it a go on a couple of my dark credit and debit cards to bring the numbers back. Safe to say, this pen did a great job and is practically identical in color to the original paint/ink used on new cards. It's helped easily identify the numbers and expiry dates on the cards, so it's done the job we wanted of it. Obviously I won't be providing a photo, but you can take my word for it! I guess that's just another example of how versatile this kind of product can be!

Chrome ink excellent, but pen not so great.
The ink is chrome, not silver, but shiny shiny chrome and that that is brilliant. I use this for accents on my 28mm models. So for the product I'd give it 5 stars. But the pen that I have leaks very badly. This might just be my pen or it could be a design flaw. But I have to be very careful how I use this and I waste far more of the product than ends up on the model. So for that reason 3 stars.

Can't tell it from factory chrome
Just started scale model car building after 40 years away. Of all the new products to come out in those years this, to me, is the most amazing. You can add chrome to any part, big or little. When removing chrome parts from sprue there is damage to that parts chrome. This repairs it. It is great for window trim, bumpers.and such. HOWEVER... it does come out thick and plentiful. I find it impossible to use to highlight car badging/nameplates. Even the 1mm pen is too big for the tiny details. But this looks like chrome right off the factory floor!! **** You do have to wait 24 hours for it to completely cure, and best not to touch before that.... or too much even after. Great product. Delivery was a little slow.

Easy to use and reliable result
I used it to correct the chrome on a plastic part of a desk lamp. The resulted chromed looks like the original.
