Hapilife Basin Taps Mixers Bathroom Sink Tap Chrome with UK Standard Hoses Single Lever Hot and Cold Mono Mixer Tap for Bathroom Basin Modern, Stainless Steel

The tap is good and looks nice. The quality seems fine for the price, and it was not difficult to install. Just check the hose size before buying. It comes with G 1/2 hoses, so if your old connection is different you may need a small adaptor. I fitted it myself and it works well. The height is good for the sink and overall I am happy with it.

This Hapilife black basin mixer tap is a modern, budget-friendly option for updating a bathroom sink with a more contemporary look. The matte black finish gives it a sleek, minimalist style that works well in modern bathroom designs, especially when paired with matching black accessories. In use, the single lever design is straightforward and easy to operate, allowing smooth control of both water flow and temperature. The swivel spout adds a bit of flexibility, making it practical for everyday handwashing and general basin use. The overall build feels decent for the price, with a solid brass body advertised and a clean, compact design that suits cloakroom or standard bathroom sinks. Installation is relatively simple for anyone familiar with basic plumbing fittings, and it’s designed to be compatible with typical UK bathroom setups. The flow rate is adequate for daily use, and it performs well in standard household water pressure conditions. It’s a good choice if you’re looking for a quick aesthetic upgrade without moving into premium price territory. If I had one downside, it would be that, like many budget black-finish taps, long-term durability of the coating can vary depending on cleaning products and water hardness. Over time, matte finishes may show wear or water spotting more easily than chrome alternatives, so a bit of care is needed to maintain the look. Overall, this is a stylish and affordable bathroom tap that delivers a strong visual upgrade and functional performance, best suited for light-to-moderate household use where design is as important as cost.

Nice one

Easy to install ,it's good quality and is working well , happy with purchase .

Very happy with this tap so far. The previous owners of our house had installed a "waterfall tap", could have been pretty but was not functional, we don't have a newer combiboiler and everything is either mains or gravity fed, plus very hard water. This new tap was easy to install, however I recommend checking your pipe connections! We ended up with a male to male situation and had to buy a male to female connector, so took an extra day to finish the installation (we used amazon prime, connector was more expensive but we can't drive and getting to a hardware shop would require a couple of houra of public transport). Once the connectors arrived it was simple! And the pressure has returned to normal now. So much better and for such great value, even if it were to get knackered in the next few years, its cheap enough to replace!

For the price these taps are good I work on the basis of it’s better to change the tap than the cartridge as all modern taps are garbage compared to old fashioned brass taps with washers the could be replaced or recut.

Great item looks lush in my bathroom

It's been leaking rust liquid at the bottom for a while, has finally failed, the internal threads have given up. The body of the tap has come away from the fixing mechanism which is still connected to the basin. Photos attached are after rust has been wiped off. Product is 14 months old at this point.

Very good

ممتاز
