Q: What is the difference between dm and dh

Mouthpiece (detachable) acapella® is available in: GREEN: acapella® DH is recommended for patients able to maintain an expiratory flow of 15 liters per minute or greater for 3 seconds. BLUE: acapella® DM is recommended for patients capable of less than 15 liters per minute for 3 seconds.

Q: How do you use this device? inhale? exhale? does it adjust? no instructions came with this.

I got instructions with mine. Inhale & then blow on the mouthpiece. The adjustment is on the end opposite the mouthpiece. To wash just take the mouthpiece off & place it & the device in hot soapy water.

Q: I can not get this this open to clean it, how do you do it?

It doesn't open to clean. Take the mouth piece off & put in soapy water. Put the large part in soapy water.

Q: How often does this need to be cleaned? Since it doesn't open up, it would take a long time to dry before it can be used again.

I clean mine once a week. If you set it on end, it takes less than 12 hours to dry, which makes it usable twice a day.
