I've had 2 Logitech DiNovo Mini keyboards and both developed faults over time. Given that the keyboards are used for a HTPC which is primarily controlled using a Harmony Ultimate remote, they were used infrequently so was disappointing that they failed given how expensive they were.I decided to give this little keyboard a whirl but was a little disconcerted about comments of short wireless range.The packaging is nice enough, and it comes with a wireless 2.4Ghz mini usb dongle, a USB charging cable, and an extension cable for the wireless dongle.The keyboard is pretty solidly made - metal frame with a raised part towards the back made of plastic which houses the rechargable battery and serves to let the keyboard sit at an angle. It can also be used to store the USB dongle in.On the back edge of the keyboard, there is a mini usb port for charging, an on/off switch and leds for charging indicator and one to show it is powered on.The keys are fairly small, but they are bigger than my Dinovo Mini keys. They are also very flat, which may or may not be an issue to you. If using for a HTPC then it shouldn't be an issue. This isn't a keyboard that you would want to be using to type out your dissertation on though!The keyboard has a touchpad on the right hand side and there are two buttons on the bottom left of the keyboard to perform left and right mouse clicks. You can also tap the touchpad for left click and two finger tap for right mouse click.I had no issues with range in my living room, and I'm about 10 feet from the PC when sitting on the sofa.One thing I did notice was that the mouse cursor movement speed was fairly slow, so in Windows 10 I went into the advanced mouse settings and upped the pointer speed a little. I also needed to enable Enhance Pointer Precision to smooth out the movement a little at higher speeds.All in all I'm really pleased with this keyboard - given that I usually spend many times this price for keyboards I was pleasantly surprised by the build quality and performance for the price.

This tiny keyboard is fantastic! My primary use case for this product is for a convenient keyboard/mouse combination whilst travelling. I use it with my tablet or various Android TV boxes which I take with me to holiday cottages & hotels, allowing me to navigate YouTube, Netflix, and the like without being tethered to the tablet or TV box.There are many plus points. The keyboard is very small, about the length of a 30cm ruler (or thereabouts - maybe less), which means it can conveniently slip into a rucksack or bag. The keys are also small, no surprises there, so if you have enormous shovel hands like a mole, then perhaps a larger keyboard would be more appropriate. The trackpad is basic and doesn't feel smooth to the touch, but it is extremely capable and I have no complaints, bearing in mind the intended use as a remote control. Sustained mouse use for desktop applications may become tedious, however.The unit is charged via mini usb rather than micro. Honestly, I prefer this interface. I also believe the keyboard can function in USB mode, but I have never had the need to do it. A nice feature, though!To conclude, if you're looking for a wireless keyboard with a small footprint for use with a smartphone, tablet or TV box, then look no further. This is a superb product which I'd replace in a heartbeat if it ever broke or became damaged. If you're looking for a more permanent wireless keyboard, then I'd suggest something along the lines of the Logitech K400r, which is physically larger and more pleasant to type on for extended use.Highly recommended!

Excellent keyboard with a compact layout.This keyboard though limited to a very small footprint, and is indeed smaller than my Microsoft Arc, preforms quite well. It's too small for regular productivity, but is more than capable as a media centre or tv keyboard.I' a fan of the mouse controls as there are a number of options either tap to click, soft touch buttons on the right hand side on the track pad, but also very useful buttons to the left of the keyboard which actually make browsing quick and easy whilst lying/sitting on the sofa.Battery life also seems good and I've been using mine for a couple of weeks on and off without the need for a recharge.Only a couple of things prevented me awarding it 5 stars. 1. the buttons under the trackpad seems slightly unreliable and often my clicks are not detected, and the keyboard layout could be better (for example the delete key is only available as a function button)It comes with a dongle so no complex Bluetooth setup is needed just plug in the dongle and your good to go.

This laptop is a perfect addition to the [New Version] VicTop MX3 MXIII Quad Core Android TV Box 2G RAM+8G ROM support Gigabit Ethernet Streaming Media Player FULLY-LOADED KODI 4K which I had purchased from Amazon a couple of weeks previously. The Android box works great, too, but using the remote control to control the on-screen keyboard and to navigate was an absolute nightmare and very, very, painfully slow. This keyboard was a doddle to set up. Just make sure the battery's fully charged, take out the small USB receiver which is neatly stored underneath the keyboard, plug that into a spare USB socket on the Android Box, switch on the keyboard and that's it!...you're away. Great for typing, scrolling and all the usual navigating you would be used to doing on a normal computer. It's a very neat, professional looking piece of kit which looks to be good quality. It's about 70% the size of a laptop keyboard and I've found it's more comfortable to use on my lap on a thin board such as a table place mat. The keyboard is hardly any different to the usual layout and getting used to using it is a simple matter. it's common sense really. As usual, though with these sort of foreign imports, the instructions amount to gobbledegook so don't get frustrated trying to understand. Suffice to say it's basically plug 'n' play, no technical skills required

I'm using this keyboard with my raspberry pi 4 and it works fine and the battery life is great but it's frustrating to use.The keyboard is great and I only have two issues:- The response time is slow, if you're wanting to type quickly this keyboard isn't for you. They keys take a fair amount of pressing down so touch-typing can be really annoying with letters being missed due to the light pressing, as well as pressing a button twice rapidly will often only count as one keystroke. There are no options that I can find to change this, nor are there documents online on the Rii website.- Sometimes after going to sleep and being woken up the keyboard will randomly move the mouse and click all over the place. It was really disconcerting when it happened the first time. Turning it off and on again resolves this issue so every time that it goes to sleep I switch it off and on again to prevent this wild mouse movement.This keyboard is grand if you just want a wireless one for a media hub or maybe other devices that you don't use too often, but if you'll be typing a lot and you type quickly then this may not be the item for you. Using my Pi as an actual computer even for an hour or so gets really frustrating with this keyboard!

Sometimes the shining new technology cannot compete with the boring Old technology.Now Wireless Keyboards have been around for a long time and recent Bluetooth KB have taken the front line for a huge many people. But Having used both BT & Wireless 2.4/5 Ghz , I have to say that for simple everyday work , you cannot beat the reliability of the Wireless one to a BT enabled one. For the BT keyboard can and DOES Lose connectivity and therefore causes lots of headaches. This is simply plug n play and it Works !The build is amazingly solid , The Supplied USB dongle is very good, instantly connects , a very good battery saving feature which does not gives problems & headaches ( like a BT One ) and rechargeable via USB .The Touchopad is nice and Big with gesture controls and dedicated left & Right click Buttons.Key travel, functions and response times are very satisfactory. So far so good ! I am hugely pleased.

Initially I was really impressed. It is compact and stylish. The battery is embedded and rechargeable and so if it ever fails to charge then the product is end of life. But don't expect this to be a problem.But the problem came when actually using it. The trackpad seems overly sensitive and so the cursor is prone to moving on a whim when I move my hand nearby. Worse still the keyboard is the opposite and lacks sensitivity and so double letters fail to recognise 50% of the time. That is to say pressing on the same letter twice cannot be distinguished from it being pressed once. Annoying enough when you can see what you are typing but really frustrating when you can’t (for example a password).There is no horizontal scroll (but there is vertical) using 2 fingers on the track pad. Tapping the trackpad (i.e. a click) has to be done really firmly to register. And a tap on the right hand side of the pad is seen as a right click. Every other trackpad uses the whole trackpad area as a left click when tapped. There are separate left and right click buttons below the trackpad so the trackpad does not have to support a right click.Sadly it had to go back

I have 2 tablets, a Dell Venue Pro 11 with its own keyboard and cover and a Venue Pro 8. The Dell keyboard for the 8 has no track pad so I have a mouse as well. The idea of a diddy keyboard with a track pad appealed. The first problem is finding a keyboard with a £ sign as most of the keyboards on offer in the UK do not have them. The Rii K12 was the first one I found that actually looks like a conventional keyboard. The unit was delivered promptly and I was surprised by the quality of the construction. The base plate is stainless steel which makes the keyboard very rigid so the is no flex in it either. There is not a full complement of keys so \ and | are accessed with the FN key.I am typing this review on the Rii K12 and find it better to use than the on-screen keyboard but it is not a replacement for a full sized keyboard. I only have 1 gripe and that there is no LED for caps lock but if I plug it into my desktop pc the caps lock light comes on on my main keyboard. Also please can we have a bluetooth version.

Setze die Tastatur am Raspb PI3 ein. Diese funktioniert einwandfrei. Lieferung erfolgte sehr schnell. Bisher bin ich sehr zufrieden damit.

Tastiera utilissima per chi lavora su pannello touch e si ha la necessità di una tastiera esterna. L’unica pecca è il ricevitore usb Wireless, che una volta perso devi buttare la tastiera. Il filo in dotazione è solo per caricare le batterie all’interno della tastiera

Smarte Tastatur, die tut was sie soll. Das Trackpad ist erstaunlich präzise und sehr praktisch ist das kleine USB-Dongle Fach an der Unterseite. Kann man empfehlen.
