Rockshox RS9641000 30 Silver Suspension Fork, Black, 26-Inch

Not the same as pictured come with v brake prongs, great entry level fork, I own rockshox Reba duel air and rockshox revaluation duel air and apart from weight/tweaking there's not much difference at all, these forks are low maintenance and easy to set up and perform great a fork I go back to regularly.

Transformed the ride of the bike, giving more travel and allowing lockout and a direct mount for the brake. A great upgrade for my 8 year MTB...

Great forks worth the money lots of adjustment wouldn't recommend for a heavy person very soft with me at 12 stone and it is definitely not air in any sense of the word unless you throw them or buy lots of expensive extras

Can’t fault the ride and difference they have made. But disappointed how they have v brake posts. But don’t on the advertisement or picture

I did not receive the remote lockout with my order, even though it stated “included” in the description. For this it gets 4 stars.Otherwise.....These are a solid entry level fork. Upgrading from old nearly seized suntour forks to these rockshox have made the world of difference. Feels like a new bike.Be aware that the 26” version does come with the V brake prongs which is not clear in the photos. A friend has the same forks in 27.5” and they do not have the prongs.

This was an upgrade from the undamped simple spring type fork found on most sub $600 bikes like my Giant from 2005. I cant believe I waited this long to get real hydraulic damping, it improves control immensely on technical trails.The lockout feature isn't total but limits the movement significantly with a hydraulic compression damping. At 150 lbs, the spring that comes with it seems perfect completely open or maybe one notch (out of 3 I think) of preload. It's a little harder to figure out the rebound adjustment as it has only a small range if adjustment but the range seems to match the spring stiffness for my weight perfectly.I used the rim brake mount (shimano vbrake) and it aligned just fine. I am completely satisfied with the function of the fork, it does what is advertised. It's fairly light weight, not super rigid like more expensive models but sufficient for the terrain it is designed for.

It’s a good buy and versus buying something cheap but not a trustworthy from alternative sources, a no brainer. Has adjustable locks and has v brake post to support my older frame
