DAFA 60 mm Soft Grip Rotary Cutter, Multi-Colour

Bought for leatherwork, this cutter is pretty impressive. It easily cuts leather with minimal effort. Good for straight cuts or very gradual curves. Word of warning!! ALWAYS close the guard EVERY time you put it down; knocking into it with your hand / fingers will lacerate your hand badly. Works well on paper, card and material too.

I've wanted a 60km cutter for some time and this was a good price. Will probably use Olfa blades as those are my favourite but will give this one a trial. It has just cut through 6 layers of quilting cotton with no problems.

This cutter is adequate and certainly useful for cutting up a straight line. I have been using it to cut calico and have had to use quite firm pressure over a self-repairing cutting board. I have found that it cuts well, off and on, leaving small sections of the fabric still remained joined suggesting that the blades blunt fairly quickly. However, I did notice that the blade supplied does not come exactly scalpel sharp, so perhaps it is my technique that is wrong. I bought two packs of spares and will need to change the blade shortly. Update: While this may not be perfect for cutting thinnish fabrics, it is excellent for cutting leather.

Love this cutter for cutting accurately my patchwork squares. Cuts through 2-3 cotton layers easily. Would probably do more with ease but not tried. Extremely sharp.

I use mine for cutting leather and it makes light work of even the thickest hides. Absolute game changer for me.

Have only recently started using this tool but have trouble cutting through fabrics. Even my husband who is stronger than me, has trouble with the blade. It seems a little blunt for something so new.

At first this cutter was ok however after a few goes the blades become blunt and didn't cut the fabric very good if using for card stock or paper then it would be ok however it wasn't very study

husband bought this cutter for me as just starting out in the quilting world. To be honest l thought it was way to big but it slices through material like butter. it is great and a lovely handle to grip.

Avevo quella più piccola con lame da 40mm-45mm, non c'è paragone, questa con lame da 60mm è molto più scorrevole e ci vuole meno pressione. La lama in dotazione dura molto di più delle altre da 40mm. Consiglio assolutamente questo modello.

Es mejor que otras cuchillas que tengo, corta muy bien y es muy manejable. Ademá tiene un diámetro mayor, por lo que, para corte y confección va perfecta.

Leider taugt die Klinge nichts. Nach wenigen Nutzungen ist sie stumpf und schneidet nicht mehr richtig. Ich habe mir auch einen Rollschneider von FISKARS gekauft, bei dem hält die Klinge um ein Vielfaches länger.
