My granddaughet just got her permit, these signs are bright and colorful, love them, yes they are a magnetthe area that you are going to put these on your car needs to be clean, no dirt, so the magnets can stick,we have only had them a few days, but i am very happy with them and would recommend them. the only big problem i have is that the backend of our other car is plastic, magnets wont stick, i never thought of that. so now i am shopping for peel and stick ones. hahaha shame on me.

I bought these at the same time as some other magnets from a different seller. Those were the traditional yellow and I thought it'd be helpful to alternate colors around the car to ensure it catches people attention so they'd be respectful and courteous of my kid who is needing to get their practice hours with parents before they can try to get their license.These magnets are a bit thicker than the yellow ones from a different seller but both have continued to hold up well to repeated use over the past few months.The magnets have held to the car during rain, freeway driving, extreme summer heat, and now the cooler weather of fall.So if you want to ensure you are getting the attention of the other drivers then I think these are a good option either on their own or in addition to some other magnets.
