Long legs
Great quality for camping and hiking. Thin and lightweight stretches while climbing. Fit is super long in legs. Pretty much used as shorts but more like capris for men🤪.

Attn: BIG OUTDOORSMEN! These pants are for you.
The bad first... The belt that comes with the pants is absolute crap. However, I didn't buy them for that. I have plenty of belts. Also, waist size seemed slightly big but not too far off. They are actually very comfortable and the inseam was perfect. Now the good. I'm a fat guy. 6'0" 380lbs. I was an avid outdoorsman (even being big) but suffered 2 heart attacks and a cardiac arrest which ended all of that. At least for a couple years but I have the need to get back out there. I figured I'd start with hiking. The problem is almost no one makes convertible hiking pants in my size (46 x 30)Then my wife found these on Amazon. They fit great, are very comfortable, and are the lightest pair of pants I've ever owned. Now I will admit most of my hiking in the past was done in either jeans or cold weather pants designed for hunting, but compared to them, these trail pants feel like I'm wearing nothing at all.In conclusion, the best thing about these Arctic Cliff convertible trail pants is the actually make them to fit big guys. I love the fit, the style, and I plan on buying several more pair. Us big guys can't use the excuse of "they don't make hiking pants in my size" because now they do. It's time to get outside and act like horse poop... And hit the trail.

Excellent lightweight work pants
I purchase these pants probably 2 years ago and for a guy my height and my size they are wonderful in the summer lightweight quick drying and have more of an elastic material throughout the entire pair of pants I just wish they were able to keep them in stock for the size that I need like I said had them for 2 years no rips no tears still fit and feel the same day as when I bought them

HORRIBLE sizing, some flaws, but still OK
SizingSizing is a serious crap shoot! I am a true 32x36 in every pair of pants I've ever bought for 30 years, in any brand. These pants are ALL over the place. I originally purchased 2 32x36 and both were sooo long that they covered my shoes almost completely! Too long?!? This *never* happens with me! My guess is that they were at least a 32x38, and maybe closer to 32x40. FWIW, waist was perfect 32. Anyway, sent those 2 back and got 32x34. 1 fit almost perfectly, about what I'd expect from a 32x36. The other pair were like floods! I'd guess maybe a true 32x34 or maybe even a 32x32! Again, waist on all was a perfect 32. I double checked the labeling on all 4 of these just to make sure I wasn't shipped something incorrectly - all good. Also checked the location of manufacture for all - I've had other brand garments fit completely differently when manufactured in different locations - these were all same location. I'm not sure what is going on, but it's really bad quality control, like they're randomly mixing the zip-off legging pieces, while the upper shorts part seems accurate.PerformanceIn general these worked out well. They're comfortable, light, compact. I have always liked the built-in cinch belt strap on hiking pants and this worked well on these. I tested them out on a week-long High Sierras trip and they did their job well. In case you're wondering - no, they are not water proof/repellent, but they do dry fairly quickly from a complete soak.GripesRight side leg pocket is a mesh liner and velcro closing flap. When you pull something out of the pocket it pulls the mesh liner with it and that just grabs onto the velcro. It gets pretty annoying to pull that off the velcro while you're hiking so you can put stuff back in and close it.Left side leg pocket liner hangs long. With the legs zipped off and wearing as shorts anything you put in that pocket will hang below the hem down near your knee. Anything - even keys or chapstick. This is not so noticeable with the legs zipped on.Ankle closure is velcro. It can open reasonably wide, but not wide enough to pull the legs off over shoes - even light running shoes. You will have to take off your shoes if you want to zip off the legs.Overall these are decent and I can live with the flaws.

Comfortable, but very long.
Nice pant, comfortable and lightweight. They are very long (ordered 36 tall) I am 6'2" and they go very far down my foot.
