The texture is smooth, absorbs well, and feels much gentler than I expected. I started slowly and haven’t had much irritation or peeling. My skin looks smoother and more refined, and I’ve noticed an improvement in overall texture and brightness. It’s a great option if you want to introduce retinal without jumping into something too strong.

I’ve used Medik8 Crystal Retinal for quite a while, purchasing it directly from Medik8’s website. This is my first time buying it on Amazon because of the great Prime Day price. As someone in my mid-50s, I use several anti-aging products, including prescription tretinoin, and Crystal Retinal has become one of the products I reach for most often. It’s gentle enough to use consistently without the irritation that stronger retinoids can sometimes cause. The attached photo shows my current skin with no filter or editing. The texture is lightweight, absorbs quickly, and layers well with moisturizer. It leaves my skin feeling smooth and comfortable, making it an easy choice on nights when I don’t want to use tretinoin. If you’re new to retinal or have sensitive skin, Strength 3 is an excellent place to start. More experienced retinoid users may eventually want to move up to a higher strength. The only downside is the regular retail price, so I usually wait until it’s on sale before buying another one.

I’ve tried many retinols, retinals and had a brief stint on tretinoin, but this is hands down my favorite, and has been the only one I’ve stuck with. I have sensitive & aging skin, but had zero irritation or break outs from this. I have used most of the level 3, and am now using the level 6 (whilst using the rest of the level 3 under my eyes). I put it on clean dry skin, and then follow up with a thick moisturizer at night… During the day I use moisturizer and spf (do not use this if you’re not going to use spf. Also, don’t combine with other actives at the same exact time. I will use a light AHA exfoliant once a week and will not use this on the same day… I did not add in the AHA until about a month in, to ensure no barrier damage/irritation) And for people saying the package doesn’t work, it DOES work. Push the product toward the pump (as you would with toothpaste) and then use the pump. Sometimes you just have to push it toward it to get it to dispense. I actually really like the product as it’s airtight and keeps it stable, if you cut it open you are ruining the product. And as for the scent, it has a very light scent that is actually cozy. It kind of smells like light vanilla cookies. I’m not usually a fan of scents, but actually enjoy this one. If they made it in a hand/body lotion, I’d buy it lol. I’ve been consistent, seen good results so far and will continue to use this product; happy I’ve finally found a form of vitamin A that agrees with my skin.

Love this stuff. Following directions for use and you should be good. I don’t use it more than three times a week and often will skip a week or so after I first started using their directions for use. No problems. I did you a facial scrub for dryness which was t bad and I use very good facial products to moisturize and cleanse

I received Medik8 serum today and attempted to use it. It took about 25 pumps to get a small amount out. And the tube looks half empty. I can’t return it because I don’t have the packaging and this was very expensive. Unfortunately, I can’t even tell if this is a good product.

Pump doesn't work easily. Need to squeeze the tube some to help the pump work. Would work better without a pump and instructions as to how much to squeeze out for a given area. Actinic keratosis on the back of my hands has almost completely resolved after using the product. Improvement in thinning skin must take longer to be noticable.

No irritation. I have very sensitive skin. Don’t love the scent but it doesn’t linger. Doesn’t make my skin dry or peel. Seen some lighting of brown spots.

El producto es excelente y ya lo he utilizado por recomendación de mi dermatóloga. Solo que yo pedí el Cristal Retinal 3 y me llegó el número 1. Eso no me gustó.

El paquete se demoró en llegar y el empaque vino muy dañado. Al ser un producto caro y para la piel genera desconfianza y se pierde la experiencia de compra

Very disappointed with this product, very small amount of product and the pump does not work. Will not be purchasing again.
