Q: Hi All, is there a metal end on the lace to help in threading it through small lacing holes?

The end of the lace is covered in a plastic aglet. you cut them off after you've laced your shoes and encase the ends in the plastic fob to stop them fraying.

Q: Once i close the clip, can i open it to adjust again? I found it very difficult to reopen the clip!

The clip at the end is not designed to be open and closed so don’t use this to adjust the laces the toggle controls the tightness of the laces & that’s easy to adjust
