Because this is classified as a "food" and not a "supplement" then yes By the SNAP guidelines yes you can, however Amazon does not categorize this as a "food" item so there's no way to use EBT to buy it on Amazon. Would this be good for my 13 yr old soccer player?

I have given it to my 14 year old son who runs Cross Country and my 17 year old who runs as well. I don't let them have it everyday, just when they need some extra hydration from working out or they've been out in excessive heat. It's probably a good idea to check with your pediatrician if you are still on the fence about it. Also, side note, we really like the lemon-lime flavor. It's taste just like lemonade and if you mix it with really cold water it taste so much better. We use a 24 oz water bottle to mix the drink, it can be pretty sweet so we add more water.
