Why did you pick this product vs others?: This is definitely my favorite eye mask. It is very comfortable and doesnt feel awkward on my face. It seems to be very high quality and also the main thing I like is how it comes with a cover so you can pull out the heat core to wash the outside of it with ease. It seems to fit well. I guess you can also use these as a cooling mask in the freezer but I havent tried that yet. I mainly just use this after using screens when it feels tight behind my eyes and when waking if my eyes are dried. It really moistens my eyes! This is definitely better than the bruder mask that I have used prior. This provides plenty of warm heat and lots of moisture which helps sooooo much unlike electric heat eye masks.

Helps with my styes and dry eye. Heats up for about 5 minutes after microwaving. Cover is nice to keep clean

Very satisfied with this product. Using for dry eyes it is very soothing while wearing and eyes are much better after use. This particular product was recommended by my optometrist.

There's nothing that I did not dislike about this product. It was quality built and easy to use. My wife every night uses it. Just what the doctor ordered. Was a great value for the money. Fit my wife perfectly. And kept the light out so she could take a nap.

I have Sjogrens Syndrome and after having cataract surgery, dry eye amped up and it was difficult to dial in a new Rx for glasses. My eye doctor recommended (TOLD me to get) this mask and I was worried it was going to be another $50-$75 thing since the eyedrops cost a mint. But NO! It's the most economical one and I love it. It's comfortable and comforting. I haven't used the strap because I have a kid-sized head and it probably needs another strip of velcro for me. (I'm 5'2"). The warmth is very relaxing for eyes. Use the time for a little meditation 🧘‍♀️ 😊! I think it's made a significant difference and you feel it right away. I also have Rx drops now and had my tear drains plugged, so my results could potentially be only slightly skewed by that. I use this significantly distant from times I use drops, which is why I feel my results aren't massively affected by the other factors. I highly recommend this product. It's a great value, a great addition to eye care (dry eye is really a serious issue) and the fact that daily use encourages me to chill for a bit and feel good. You can't lose with this one. I recommend cutting the paper tag that's got instructions on it off the strap, though. I gather they used paper rather than a cloth tag to keep the cost down, but a paper tag on your head, especially if you lie down will make crunchy noises. The instructions are on the box. I use the longer microwave time seconds. Last night I accidentally hit the automatic 1 minute button on the microwave, and although the mask got VERY HOT, I could almost stand it on my face. A minute or two and it cooled to very warm but comfortable. I don't think the mask was negatively impacted by the "oops". Having done this accidentally, I think since microwave powers vary, I'll try 46 seconds in mine today. Do your eyes a favor... don't bother with more expensive masks. Some reviewers were bothered by "fit". My recommendation is to move the "beans" in the mask around to fit your eye sockets. If you've got shallow sockets, spread them more evenly. If you have deep eye sockets, move the beans together so they are concentrated in the area where your sockets are deep. The ability to do this is something I especially like and probably not as easy to customize with gel masks.

Eye doctor said every night before bedtime for 10 minutes, for 2 weeks then 3 times/week. I notice a difference with my dry eyes.

Easy to warm up in microwave

I've been dealing with chalazion and styes for 30 years. Teapots with boiling water onto towels, microwaved hand towels in ziplock bags wrapped in another towel etc. This mask is...ok. It does warm up quickly and gives moist heat for a few minutes. After about 7 minutes, the heat is reduced by 50-60% and it's warmish. After about 11 minutes, it's not really warm but still a little damp feeling. For the price it's ok but severe dry eye folks will probably want to find something better.
