Beautiful book, still have and use to this day

The Love Dare Daily Devotionals is a book that is intended for married couples but can be used for couples who are engaged or are in a serious relationship. This book shares what the true meaning of love is and how to share that with your spouse. This book is a challenge! Through this book God opens your heart about what YOU need to work on in your relationship to make it better. Your attitude in a relationship can make all the difference. God reveals to you what is in your heart. Better yet if the relationship is what God intended for you to be in, be prepared to experience deep changes between you and your spouse. Your love moves to a stronger unconditional love level by letting God be involved with your relationship. Couples should read this book if they want to defy divorce and the ridiculous marriage/relationship ideas of this world. I bought the year devotional and I love that each day only takes about ten minutes to read,contemplate and look up references in bible. It has helped me learn so much about myself and after a few weeks my husband came to me and said he noticed something different about me and said that he loved the wife I was being. He doesn't know I do the Love dare. When I finished the book I started all over and it was like doing it again for the first time which was nice because it meant I didn't have to buy another book. I am not that religious but this book works! I see the change in myself and although our marriage seemed fine, I really believe it has made it better than I could ever have imagined.

My wife and I have been married for over 31 years and have found the Love Dare Day by Day: A Year of Devotionals for Couples to be a great tool and resource for us. We have consistently read each day's reading for the past 8 months (even reading it together over the phone when apart!). This book avoids the sentimentality that is contained in others and does a good job of making the readings practical - with suggestions for activities and relational growth throughout the weeks and months. We like it well enough to have purchased extra copies for gifts. It is our belief that regardless of the number of years you have been married - or whether or not both of you are followers of Jesus - that these short daily devotionals will be helpful to you and your marriage.

Great devotional for us. We are just starting a daily devo together and this one is not lengthy and doesn't have tons of questions at the end of each day. The weekly themes give you a great goal to work on for the week and every day has you reflect in a little different way. Sometimes there's a question, other times an extra verse to reinforce the topic, and sometimes a call to action. I would highly recommend this book for any married couples. From strong long married couples to young struggling couples this really covers the range and doesn't speak in "Christian-ize" so it's understandable. Even though it's a daily commitment for a year, it only takes 5 to 10 minutes to do one devotional.

While waiting to receive this book, I thought to myself it’s white and I wanna keep it that way. I was thinking on what I could do to protect it. God answered that prayer for sure. It came very well packaged and inside a book box. It is imitation leather and very beautiful! Very well made! I wanted to get this to go along with the Love Dare book! I have to say, I am so very impressed! Thank you for the most perfect book!

This book is so wonderful! It gives you so much "food for thought", is very well written and so easy to comprehend (unlike a lot of devotionals I have come across). I find myself looking forward to each day and what I will learn from it. What an amazing book! I'm also looking forward to The Love Dare for Parents releasing here soon. Definitely worth the money spent. Be sure to keep your determination and read it every day as much as possible. Set aside time for yourself so you can really reflect on each day's read. I highlight and underline parts that stand out or have a real importance to me so I can go back for an easy reminder. They phrases that stick out the most as well as additional personal thoughts get written down in a credit card sized notebook so I can carry it around with me. :) I hope this book makes the same difference in your life as it has in mine! :)

Ich betrachte es als eine Fundgrube, Ideenkiste, was auch immer, um dem geliebten Ehepartner das gemeinsame Leben interessanter, angenehmer, freundlicher ... zu machen. So Tag für Tag eine Seite abhaken wäre mir zu schematisch.

This is a great book. My husband and I were about to divorce then we were given this book to read and it has changed our lives. We celebrated our 26th wedding anniversary recently as a result. We are ordering extra copies to give to others. If your marriage is in trouble read this book and do the 40 day dare today!

Excellent devotional book for couples

IT'S AN EXCELLENT BOOK I ADVISE EVERYBODY TO READ IT WITH YOUR PARTNER OR ALONE BECAUSE EVERYONE OF US THINK THAT HIS PARTNER HAVE TO CHANGE BUT WHEN YOU READ THIS BOOK YOU KNOW THAT WE NEED TO CHANGE OURSELVES NOT THE OTHERS. GOD BLESS YOU ALL
