Ferret Play Tunnel
This “tunnel” is all of our ferrets’ favorite thing to play in, sleep in, and stash toys in. It’s easy to wash with a ferret shampoo and a scrubber in a bath tub of hot water. Then hand towel or hang dry over night. The only downside was the initial smell that took a few months to start to leave. After three deep cleans, the smell finally started to settle down. I always look for heavy duty items that will be a long term investment. This way our ferrets are less likely to destroy and/or ingest things they shouldn’t. This product meets all expectations: * Durable construction that won’t collapse, trap, or injure * Safe for continuous use * Wide enough for multiple ferrets to play, sleep, and stash toys in at the same time * Long enough to be exciting to play in * Easy to clean and dry * Novel and fun * Doesn’t encourage chewing or destructive behaviors due to quality build Other things to note: *Room temperature doesn’t go below 60 degrees or above 75 degrees Fahrenheit. * Tunnel is always kept indoors. * Cleaning bath water temperature doesn’t go above 110 degrees Fahrenheit. * Cleaning is with a pet safe shampoo specifically made for skin and coat contact. * A standard soft dish scrubber 🧽 is used to minimize scratching or accidental damage to the tunnel. * Any pet “accidents” cleaned up beautifully from the product without lingering odors or damage when cleaned up with 6 hours of onset — sometimes messes occur overnight and they are cleaned up promptly in the morning. * Drying with a high absorbency microfiber cleaning cloth or a standard cotton hand towel yields the best results. * Cleaning tunnel daily/weekly when in use with pets will minimize dirt, dust, allergies, and negative respiratory effects from particles shed in the tunnel. Confined spaces need to be kept clean for optimal health. We’ve had this tunnel for almost 8 months and no issues. Will absolutely be purchasing more.

Good price for a good hose
I used this to connect the 5 inch intake on my Oneida Mini-Dust Gorilla to an 18 inch bandsaw. The dust collector is only a foot or two away from the bandsaw, and I’m sure I could get more suction if I shortened the hose. Still fiddling with the arrangement and will shorten the hose once I’ve figured out the placement. Solid and smooth metal ducting would be more efficient but would limit flexibility. Hose looks sturdy enough but hard to tell about long-term durability. I have another 5 inch hose from Oneida. It was more expensive and is stiffer/less flexible, but in 3 years of use it has held up very well.

Great tube for ferrets
Tubes made for ferrets do not last long and can become dangerous after a while. I have been looking for a nice durable tube and this one is just perfect. Very flexible, will allow “knots” for the ferrets to get challenged during their race, and heavy enough for them to climb and slide without the tube moving. The only downside is the strong plastic smell but it gets better after a few days, and I suppose will go away after a while. The ferrets love it and like to scratch their back on the inside ridges. A great investment !

Good hose - But make sure you have enough suction power
4 Stars because it's what I expected and not the hoses fault that my 9 gal Craftsman vac with a new filter is too weak. I would have given 5 starts, but the hose is still a few inches to an entire foot short of the advertised length. I stretched it out and it was close, but it shouldn't need to be pulled that far to reach the advertised length. But I'm still satisfied. I have triple checked each connection and all are secure with no air escaping. The hose material is good bendable quality with the wire inside. I was able to cut the hose with scissors and the wire with a snip. Using adapters, I connected it to my 12" Hitachi miter saw and ran about 8' hose down to my vac where I have a Y adapter attached. Behind the saw I mounted a Powertec Big Gulp dust funnel\hood and it too is good quality. The Big Gulp is mounted just behind and below the saw to catch dust as it falls. I built side walls, a back wall and a top to keep dust from spreading out. Incidentally, the top serves very well as a shelf for frequently used pencils and other items I need in close reach at the saw. All works well, but the suction is not enough. Perhaps a smaller diameter hose would help, but I wanted to see inside the hose. Which is why I was able to notice the small handful of saw dust that had gathered in the longer portion of the hose that extends down from the saw. It was drooping down about 3" below the intake of the Y adapter and didn't have enough suction to pull the dust in. But I adjusted the hose to go down with no drooping and that fixed the issue. Proper suction would be better. If I add other devices even with blast gates, I suspect additional power loss. I can't imagine what type of power a 4" hose would require. Changes I'll make: Eventually I'll invest in a proper dust collector with more power. Get a smaller diameter hose (see through won't matter to me now that I know what I need to avoid with the hose placement.) I'll test PVC with spare tubes I have laying around and let you know, but my guess is that I may need better power here as well.

Pricey but I really liked this hose because it’s heavy duty and still flexible. Really hard to puncture. Bought a 6” version for anther machine

Surpassed my expectations. Very good flexibility and quality. Made of rigid metal coils. Met my needs for a good exhaust hose at a great price.

Sturdy flexible hose

I ordered the 6” 5foot long hose but it only measures 3 feet and 4 feet at maximum stretch so it’s short about a foot to foot and a half
