TRQ Engine Intake Manifold Assembly for Dodge Ram 1500 2500 3500 V8 5.7L

This was a good replacement for my original intake that was getting a bit questionable after 230,000 miles on my Silverado 2500 HD with the LQ4. There are a few ways this is different: it uses a modified gasket arrangement which seems perfectly effective, it has a reinforced construction giving it a slightly different appearance, and all the thread inserts from your original are replaced with self tapping screws.Typically I would say self tappers are a downgrade, but they actually seem to be a lot more effective and they eliminate the problem you have when the thread insert breaks free. The instructions are more of a checklist than instructions, and you do have to relocate the map sensor, but if you can’t follow them, you shouldn’t be doing this job yourself anyway.After install, everything works as normal, though it does change the engine sound inside the cab a bit. The new version transmits slightly more rocker arm noise at idle if your hearing is really good, which I suspect is due to the lack of foam inserts that were present on the original intake. It’s barely noticeable, so not bad enough to knock off a star.

It’s probably a universal intake manifold for a few Prius trims and ct200h, at least for Prius, there’s an extra bolt and spacer you need to take off from the manifold. Other than that, it’s a perfect fit, fixed the EGR clogging issue

Massive vacuum leak around spider seal on Vortec 5.7. Installed per procedure with o ring lubed up as well, hooked up my smoke machine after a test drive and sure enough a new pope has arrived. Looks nice I guess but certainly didn’t work as I’d wanted.

Good quality, noticeably better than the other cheaper options on here and ebay, I ordered a different one and one of the gaskets inside the manifold had a chipped piece off and i tried to use it but it still leaked a little bit, so here i am after installing this nicer higher quality one. Also thq has all the instructional videos to walk you thorught the process.

Good fit just different mounted locations when you don’t have a brake booster but a hydraulic booster on your vehicle, some bolt holes were damaged when arrived but didn’t leak luckily good bang for your buck.

Did not line up correctly

Worked great on my 1997 silverado. So happy to have it up and running again.

bought for my 2004 Toyota Camry LE, 2.4 L. My Camry is California emissions, even though I don't live in California, I bought the car used and apparently it came from California at some point. Anyway, this intake will not fit your vehicle if it has California emissions, so check your vehicle decal under the hood to make sure that it's not CA emissions. Amazon refunded my money when I informed them of this problem.
