Had to bend it to fit my Cuisinart BBQ and cracked the ceramic coating.
The price was right. Until I tried to install this Flame Tamer. It had a lovely ceramic coating on it, but that was all for naught, as the piece was bent at the wrong angle to mate up with the mounting brackets on the grill itself. If the flat surfaces don't line up, the piece is totally wobbly and easily falls off to one side or the other. So I had to flatten it out and in the process the ceramic coating got all cracked up.Now it's been a few months and the thing works. But without the coating, I can see the rust already forming and so the lifespan of this thing is going to be limited. If I had found an alternative supplier, I would have returned this one and tried anything else, but since there was apparently nobody else supplying this piece, I stuck with it and "made it work."When this one fails, I'll probably just fabricate my own flame tamer with better heat distribution holes and funnels. But that's not something that a lot of people have the tools or skills to do, so I'm guessing a lot of people are going through the same thing I have so far.

It works good just what I wanted . I took the old one out and slipped a new one in. Happy customer.🤪🤪

Satisfied with my purchase
While it wasn't a perfect fit was close enough to work. The angle of the deflector was to much. I pushed down on it there by bending it a little more. Worked fine after that.

It will have to do!
I blame cuisinart for making such a flymsy flame distributor in the first place, but this is by no means a true replacement. It does not stay on. The original just sat there without pins, it never slid off in the 2-3 Years I owned the bbq. I had to buy 2 cotter pins to secure it in place, but it still will fall off because it is not truly made for this bbq, even if that is the promise! I kept it as there is no other replacement, cuisinart stoped making them!

Works just fine!
The holes didn’t line up exactly... had to is some wire to secure it. Wasn’t going to pay to ship back and reorder . Works just fine!

Attachment slots to small
The ends slots that attach to grill were too small. Attaching bracket will not go through. Item not to specs from original. Will have to modify.
