The vinyl is not very thick but seems sufficient for the purpose — especially considering the price. As someone already commented, it is about the same consistency as the bags retail bedding often comes in. Another reviewer mentioned the strong odor. Immediately upon opening, there was a plasticky odor, but it wasn’t any stronger than I would have expected and was gone within an hour or two. Even if it didn’t diminish, it wasn’t unbearable. Someone else mentioned that you can get this quality at a dollar store, but I sure haven’t seen anything this size at any of the ones I’ve been to.What concerns me most are the zipper pulls. They are plastic although the ones in the product photo definitely look like metal (deducted a star for misleading photo). Additionally, it is a bit difficult to zip around the corners, although I have not tried doing so with the bag loaded. Speaking from other experiences with such zippers, I cannot imagine the pulls holding up to continuous or aggressive use so I will be handling it gingerly.For $5 per bag, I’m not expecting Container Store quality! For light seasonal access — even considering the extra care I feel I need to take with the zippers — it still seems like a good deal.EDIT January 2020: It’s been about a year and a half and I’m happy to say I’ve had no issues so far. I’ve been using one of these to store rolls of gift wrap. It’s even standing mostly upright in a closet and is packed full (slightly floppy but reasonably well-protected). I access it only a few times a year and have even transported it to a friend’s house. I am still treating it with care — especially the zipper. It’s now officially worth the price for me.

Overall, these storage bags get the job done and work as described. They do not stand up on their own, meaning they only form real rectangles if you have them completely filled. Not an issue really, just an observation.But one of the zippers on one of the bags broke immediately after I filled it with clothes. The bag wasn’t overfilled, the items simply just bulged in one spot, and the zipper apparently couldn’t handle that, as it broke off and will not go back on now. There are two zippers on each container, so I can still close the bag, but have to close it all the way at the corner and reopen the entire thing whenever I need something. Not a huge deal, the bag still works and fits under my bed no problem, just disappointing that the zippers weren’t stronger. But for the money, I can’t really complain.Overall, I wish they were a bit sturdier and had structed lining so they would stand up on their own, but they will do for now.

Comes in a pack of two. They are made of plastic, almost like a clear backpack. They haven't ripped or torn yet, but one of the zippers on one of the bags can't zip. Good for what I'm using them for. They are flimsy so the things you put in them have to hold up the sides. One of them I am using to store all my art works and the other I'm using to store holiday items.

I let them air to regain form. Depending on the weight each fits about 2_3 sweaters. Good for packing up snow gear or layers. It is also travel friendly! This is made of a plastic that is not going to tare. Can stuff the storage bags by allowing some air out.,just secure the zipper. Watch out as fabrics could catch from the inside!

Huge amount of storage space in one of these, and I could fit about four of these bags underneath my Full size bed! Unfortunately, the zipper for one of my bags is a little defunct in how it doesn’t zip smoothly and doesn’t cleanly connect both sides of the zipper teeth together. I’m not too bothered because I don’t need to access any underbed storage frequently. I would still purchase this again.

I have only had these a few days. Read all the reviews,some with trepidation. I was very careful of the zippers, as they were mentioned a lot. I think they will be ok in the garage with blankets,at least I can see what is in the bags,not like boxes. I have seen heavier vinyl bags,but these may be ok. I will update if not.4 stars because of unknown .....

I bought six of these so I could put my bedding under my bed. I just put some sheets and comforter in one of the bags and the zipper broke immediately. Luckily there was a second zipper but who makes stuff with plastic zippers? I didn't over-stuff the bag, in fact, there's plenty of room so there's no reason for a zipper to break. I'm sure they won't let me post this because negative reviews are rarely accepted. If this does somehow get through, be careful with the zippers! On the flip side, I'm very happy with the size of just one bag! I live in a small apartment and this is just what I needed to go under my bed.

Works well. Durable. Easy to use and fit in awkward spaces.
