The more I use it the more I like it
I was going to return it because the trigger constantly hung up. The problem was in the trigger itself. I hate returning stuff so I kept working with it and finally the trigger quit sticking. So. I have tried twice to contact customer support and never received a reply. I see there is supposed to be a much better PDF manual which I would like to get but there is no point in contacting Azzuno a third time.UPDATE: Azzuno contacted me and offered a full refund. For some reason my attempts to reach them through their CONTACT US never reached them. Upon seeing my review however they reached out to me.My main interest in this welder is for light gauge metals up to 1/8". I am still in the learning curve but it has proven it can make some buttery smooth welds that penetrate well. For the money I think this is a great value. This is the new outside frame for a ramp on my 5X11 trailer. Next I will weld in the internal braces and finally the expanded metal skin. This welder gives me confidence for this light gauge work I never had with my flux core welder which runs way too hot for this kind of work.Addendum: Go through your ground clamp and tighten everything up including the crimped on ring eye. My Azzuno started stacking up weld and not penetrating. I figured it might be the ground side and sure enough every part of it was loose. Take the few minutes and get that thing tight.Update: I'm several months out now and I continue to be pleased with this welder. I'm running .023 wire with the standard co2/argon mix. This setup will require you to purchase a feed roller and gun tips for .023 wire, and a gas bottle and regulator. It's worth it. I'm not sure but I don't think there are factory settings for .023 on gas. I have learned to use 10 amp at 20 volts as kind of a baseline with this setup and go up or down from there. Two projects lately have put the ability of this welder to handle thin material to the test. I am the weak link as the welder can do what I ask of it. It is really fascinating to watch the arc pulse according to what settings I'm using. I can literally see and hear the pulsing. It's like this welder knows what needs to happen. The welders automatic feed speed seems pretty good, I haven't had any problems with feed speed.ADDENDUM, March 2025I bought Azzuno's tig kit and a bottle of argon. Most of what I weld is small stuff and the ability to slow down the weld process, which tig does, finally got me to pull the trigger on purchasing that big bottle of argon and learning to tig. This is touch start. It isn't as sophisticated as some tig only welders but this Azzuno absolutely will tig. Given the Azzuno will get you started tig-ing for minimal expense it is a good way to get started. The picture is a practice weld just learning what to do and not do and how it all works. It's like gas welding with electricity except incredibly better heat control. I can change the Azzuno 1 amp and on thin material see the difference, so you can really dial it in. The tig feature is free on this welder so what's not to like? It is DC only, so steel welding only - but it will get you started and let you learn for minimal investment if you, like me, already own one.

Azzuno is awesome!
Hello everyone.Let me first start by saying that the first one that arrived arc welded well, check the tig weld (that I am unfamiliar with) and it worked, but the mig weld would not go. This is where Azzuno really shined. I filled out some online help through Amazon and Azzuno responded immediately, but it gets better. Despite that 2 of the 3 things already worked on the first one that arrived, Azzuno sent me the exact same item without having to return the first one. Plugged it in and like the first one, arc and tig worked great. Then the mig...and I was nervous, but voila!!! The mig worked perfect. So now I have two of the same units, the second one has all three things working and the first one I'll probably try to open her up and see if I can get the mig working. Still, 2 of the 3 things still do work.Thank you to Azzuno for being so easy to work with. They not only solved the problem, but I have another unit that can still weld with. Awesome experience.

Azzuno 250
I purchased the 250amp mp azzuno after I bought the azzuno 200 mp. I wanted to see if the cost justified it. I tried stick welding first. It won't run 6010 but will run everything else very well to include 5/32 rods. The mig is great. The syn function is very helpful. I haven't tried the tig option yet. Great welder. Would be nice to have an accessory and consumable parts list from Azzuno. Both welders I purchased are great welders. I just wished Azzuno would put out more info on parts and accessories. If they are going to compete with arc captain and yes welder then they need to do the little things like:Have a consumable parts listHave an optional accessory listUpgrade to a hub design for securing the mig wirePut a data cheat sheet on the inside door of the welderOn the mig 250 maybe put a clear plastic door over the screen that can be raised when needed. The mig 200 doesn't need it because it has knobs instead of buttons like on the mig 250.Advertise more about their products. Send their products to some of the YouTube welding channels and let them review or do a head to head comparison with the competition (yes welder, Toolium, and arc captain). I think a lot of people would be surprised that Azzuno would do well.UPDATE: December 2024I converted my Azzuno over to run .045 flux core wire. I purchased a wire feeder roller and bigger gun and this machine runs it very well. I placed the settings in manual mode and had to turn it down after a few passes. I welded for over an hour on 23 volts at 230 amps and never once hit the overload. I turned it down to 19volts and 180 amps and getting great penetration in 1/2 steel. I'm curious to see how long this machine holds up. So far I'm extremely impressed.Update#2 April 2025I set this up to carbon arc gouge. Alot of "experts" say that you can't arc gouge with one of these welders and if you do it won't weld right afterwards. So I tried a 1/4 rod and it didn't burn very well. I switched to a 3/16 rod at 200 amps and it melted the welds away like butter. I gouged out a deep crack in 1/2 steel and it did great. I switched over and filled in the crack with weld and it performed great. This isn't a welder that you would put in a machine shop and dedicate to carbon arc gouging because it's not smdesigned for that. However if you need to do it occasionally on small jobs it does great. Im still convinced this welder welds .045 wire better than .035. I run 19 volts and 6 on wire speed and the Lincoln NR 211 flux core will burn like a breeze. If I do end up breaking this welder ( I have been putting it thru it's paces) I would definitely buy another in a heartbeat.
