I've had very mixed experiences with car phone mounts in the past. This model works well because my Prius dashboard has a flat section to which the holder can be adhered (there are curved portions as well). Make sure to attach it in a cool location (garage, not in the sun) and give it hours or overnight to adhere properly. So far, a couple of weeks in, I'm happy with it.

The mount is light weight and sticks incredibly well. Highly adjustable to fit your mounting configuration. The best part that I like is the way you put it in and out. Most every other one I have used you struggle to get either in or out. The way this works is there is a release button on the side that when you push the clamping arms close tightly against your phone. To take your phone out push the button and the clamping arms automatically open up. Actually very ingenious. I mounted it on my BMW motorcycle so I am not sure about the vent mount but it seems to be very sturdy as well. All in all with the price of mounts this is a good choice. I needed something that would hold my phone tightly so it would not fall out being it is on my motorcycle; this works very well. What are you waiting for, just get it!Also customer service is great and very helpful.

Edit: As of 3/23/2023, I missed a few emails from the company, but they ended up sending me 2 replacements to try out and see if it they work for my phone. I was pleasantly surprised to see them in the mail. They had been trying to contact us through amazon but I missed them in my email at first. So I will be changing my rating on this review as they went above and beyond to get into contact with me so they could get my issue rectified. One of the new ones they sent out to me fits my phone better than the one I ordered here.This is not for you if you have a pop socket or even a decent case on your phone. The sides are not wide enough to accommodate a thick case and forget if you have a pop socket or ring on the back. I didn't think it was a problem until I got the product. And now I can't return it.

I had a couple different phone mounts over the years and this one has performed better than the others, its geared design seems to wear better that the others that I have used that that sping closed when you push your phone agents them. Those end up snapping after about 3-6 months. Because you pinch together the 2 sides and then release it with a button when you want to remove your phone it seems to be less likely to brake. The nut that holds the tension did brake, but a simple email to support and they are sending a replacement. Very happy over all I do recommend.

Initially, I used the car mount in my daughter's car and really liked it. I used it a lot as I was unfamiliar with the city and drove to the store and various venues for my grandkids.When I mentioned that I was going to buy one for my car. My husband wanted a car mount. I prefer the vent mount. This product provides us both! I use the vent mount in my car. He uses the car mount in our classic cars.

I liked that it held my phone in place against my dashboard while it was attached to my windshield. Did not like how hard it was to remove from windshield even with direction from Vanmass. I finally removed most of it from the windshield. The disc right against the windshield still remains. Vanmass wrote me that I did not need that adhesive pad to use on glass.

Initially, I was slightly disappointed by the weak suction, but after a few minutes, it became stronger, and the stand felt relatively stable. Unfortunately, the car's vibrations caused some noise in the phone holder, although it wasn't particularly annoying. I believe the noise reduces when you place your phone in the holder.Overall, I consider it a good product. However, the main drawback of the phone holder, especially if your car lacks air conditioning, is that your phone tends to overheat during the drive.

Update:Excellent customer service from the the company sent a new car mount for me to try out. This has exceeded my expectations and shows me they take every product they sell and every customer seriously. Blown away. There are so many companies that could do what these folks are doing to learn brand loyalty. Many many thanks folks. The new one is working as intended.——It’s helpful but it stays on my dash ok. It has come off a few times and my phone seems to be too heavy for it. I’m always having to pull the phone up because the arm falls over all the time while driving. It’s actually quite frustrating when using my phone for directions and having it fall down. I like the concept but I’d give this a 5/10

This is great…..but I have a problem. When I installed it, I realize that the spac where I did put the sticker base is finally not good….but my problem is I can not remove it and place at another place ….I am wondering where can I buy a new sticker round base….

I tried to install this on my dash but it would not stick, I was going to return it but then I tried it on the corner of my glass windshield, wow it can't come off. Went over several pot holes it held steady. Overall it's really nice and holds strong but does not work on plastic.
