First impressions: This is packaged nicely with cardboard envelopes and a note from the manufacturer - signed by hand with pen and ink. There's also a little envelope with a pair of leather keyrings. The wallet itself is laid out flat, ready for you to assemble.Leather: It's obviously top quality leather - it shows pull-up qualities and you can see the oils moving around on the surface. It's thin, about 1mm, but flexible and seems strong enough. There are embossed brass poppers showing the Crazy Horse Craft logo to hold it all together, and an embossed logo in the leather (which is hidden when the wallet is folded).Wallet: The small flap on the shorter length opens to reveal two pockets, this is where you'd hold most of your cards. Be warned that it looks like there is a third pocket, but anything you place here is likely to fall out again. Opening the larger, angled flap reveals access to a card slot - for maybe one or two cards that are frequently accessed, and also a larger pocket in which you could keep cards or change. Where the wallet is folded, it is already showing a patina (I haven't even put it in my pocket yet) and any small scratches are likely to develop into an interesting texture.The rugged yet modern design of this is kind of intriguing - it doesn't have a tired look that other leather wallets have, and I don't feel precious about any scratches or mars that could appear. It almost wants me to throw it around let it pick up marks; it will still hold together but the wear will make it look better. There is no stitching whatsoever, so all surfaces feel smooth and supple, additionally this reduces failure points and increases the lifespan of the wallet.I bought this on sale at ~£20 and I don't know how they are making money on these. I feel like it's such good value for money. If there are any problems in the future, I will update this review.

Can't believe the quality and presentation given for this price. Beautiful piece of leather, that allows you to fold your own wallet! The leather itself is clearly high quality and finished beautifully. Three spots for things: 1. A slot for a couple of cards, easy access. 2. A pocket for money. 3. A backside big pocket for less used cards, a small knife, pen or plasters, etc. Overall, really impressed and can't wait until it develops a nice patina!

Very nice quality neat little card holder.The 1-2 star reviews are correct in that at first, you could drop your cards straight through the gap, however, it doesn't take any thought at all to ensure the you put your cards in front of the flap which means they are perfectly secure. Once worn in, there's zero effort required. Main card in the slot, resp of cards inside with space for cash and train tickets too.

This is a fabulous wallet - beautifully made, very high quality leather and incredibly easy and unobtrusive to carry. Was delivered very quickly, much quicker than originally quoted - took only a week to deliver to the UK. A very clever design, with no stitching to unravel and made from a single piece of leather. I also received a free gift of a matching leather key fob, which was much appreciated! Brilliant, and highly recommended.

Really love natural materials and the innovative use of clever folds to create this useable wallet. There is limitation on the amount of cards and money/paper it can hold, however I have found I keep a lot of cards in my wallet that I rarely use and these days I use cash less and less. Although I’ve only just started to use this wallet, already I can see it will help me to avoid keeping unnecessary items in my wallet. They also sent me two really nice key ring holders as a thank you

After looking at several other minimalist-style wallets I opted for this for its simplicity and stylish looks. Other systems had mechanisms to pop up the most used card(s), but according to peoples' feedback either didn't work well or bent the cards. In contrast, this wallet uses multiple compartments and features a slot for the most used card(s), which works perfectly. I've fitted cards from two wallets into this and still have space for cash. And it's smaller than the smallest of my two old wallets.
