I have the X core now inside are the wire post the same so can rewire just like the X core? And can it be inside?

When I replaced my Hunter Pro-C controller with the Hydrawise X2 I simply took a picture of the existing wiring of the Hunter Pro-C not only to capture the wiring connections but also the color of each wire. It was then simple to connect each station wire to the appropriate terminal inside the box. If in the unlikely event your wires are all the same color, make sure to label them with the station number before you disconnect them. In my case I only have 7 stations so only the terminals labeled 1-7 were used. Also, there is a common wire terminal labeled "C" that I connected as well. It was that simple. Make sure to test each station after making all the connections but mine worked perfectly. Also, my Hunter Pro-C was already in my garage so that's where I placed my Hydrawise X2 controller. So yes, it can be inside.

can this unit be hard wired instead of using the plug?

Yes the wires are all color coded and labeled, just match them up

Good system and great price.

Great price and works perfectly. Easy 1 for 1 swap out from my older hunter controller. Only thing I don’t like is that the battery back up is sealed and once it dies (5years) you’ll either have to keep programming they system everytime you loose power, run it manually, or update to the Bluetooth feature with probably cost more then the controller itself.

Power transformer is Idle

I bought it for using in my home country , and Although I’m using hunter for almost 15 years, but I was surprised to find that the power transformer was not working in this item , I had to replace it with a transformer from older machine that I had. and unfortunately , there is no direct contact with the seller.
