10FT Modern Satin Stainless Steel Double Sliding Barn Wooden Door Hardware Set

Great, solid hardware that moves smoothly and looks great. However, the mounting holes that attaches to the door are about 1" further from the wall than the center of the pole, which means: 1. There will be up to about 1" of gap between the door and the wall. This makes it unacceptable for our bathroom door. 2. The door will want to slant towards the wall (to bring its center of gravity to under the pole), which means extra friction on the guide bar if you want the door to be straight, making the door less smooth to move.In order to get rid of the gap I used about $10 in hardware (some mending plates, bolts, and washers), so now the door hangs directly under the bar and straight, and the door is within 1/8" of the wall (giving the bathroom better privacy and noise protection).

So I bought this kit for a house I was flipping, and ended up not using it. It sat in my garage for the bulk of this year, then, on a whim, I decided to put a barn door in one of my rental units.WOW. For the price, this kit is outstanding, with only 1 small gripe (ok kinda large). The fit, finish, machine work, and bearings in this kit are outstanding. Does everything I need it to do, supplied screws are adequate, directions are straightforward, with 1 exception.the bad - the spacing specified in the instructions leaves the door within a hair of the floor. If you have tile, or any type of uneven surface, you will, like me, get done, glide it along the rail, and watch it catch the floor.You will then curse, grind your teeth, and your male pattern baldness will accelerate. Yes, i should have checked it, but I did after the door hung up, and it matched the directions perfectly.So - it says space it door height + 61mm, which translates, per google, to 2.4". Go 2.75"+ door height and its perfect.But overall, I love this thing, going to order a few more to keep around, as now my friends have seen this door and all want one....Buy it! Just go 2.75", NOT 2.4"....

I don't even know where to start with how happy I was with this purchase! I got two of these to install barn doors in my basement, which had two doorways that were different sizes, neither of which are standard. Rather than mess with re-doing a doorway, I decided to just custom build myself a couple of doors. I did a LOT of shopping around for the right style of sliding door hardware and fell in love with this style. The stainless steel color and minimal style is really modern and looks great with the rest of my decor. And seriously, this price cannot be beat! I found some hardware sets at places like Home Depot that cost upwards of $300-$400 dollars and I definitely did not want to pay that much.Not only does it look great, but the quality once I received the hardware blew me away. It is all very sturdy, clearly well-made. This isn't some cheap curtain rod type of set, it is very hefty and built to hold a large door.Like some other commenters mentioned, the instructions do leave something to be desired, but anyone with some basic skills and a Metric tape measure can easily figure it out.Overall, I just can't recommend this set enough to anyone looking for a sleek, modern way to put a barn door in your home!

Bought three of these, one to use by itself and two to combine into a single long track for two hanging doors.These things are fantastic. Easy to put together, easy to install, relatively easy to figure out where all the parts go. We cut one of the tracks using a hacksaw with a regular blade - took a few minutes but wasn't particularly difficult.We didn't use any of the screws/anchors for attaching rollers to the doors, just got some 1.5 inch wood screws (our doors were thinner and lighter than standard doors). We also couldn't use the door "handles" for the double doors due to thinness and placement relative to the door opening, but that's not a strike against this hardware.Even compared to much more expensive doors these seem like a great option, at their price point, it's a no-brainer.

Very solid and well made. Easy to assemble despite no text in instructions ( pictures only). Looks very modern and opens and closes smoothly. Saved me $$$ over other options

This was an incredible find. We built our own door for it and at first we were skeptical that it would work out but in the end it was perfect. The hardware was made of high quality material. The door slides with ease. And it was so reasonably priced for the quality.The only negative thing I have to is that the directions were awful. No wording. Just pictures and all the measurenents were in metric. I suggest getting metric tape measure if you would like to simplify your life. We just guessed the measurements and it worked out fine but our door isn't close enough to the ground to use the floor guide the set came with. We were able to put the track holder in too stud walls though and our door isn't that heavy so no worries about the weight of the door being too much. If you have a heavier door, you may want your measurements to be more precise. Also get a metric hex key set. They should include one with the kit. We stripped one screw in our door using our standard hex key and had ran to Home Depot to buy a metric set.

Can't beat the price, instructions not the best. Overall quality is good.I have been searching for a reasonably priced bard door hardware and found these on Amazon. While I was a bit skeptical to purchase then given they seemed cheap, I was honestly surprised by the quality of the material. I agree with one other review that the instructions are honestly some of the worst that I have seem. What is important is that the holes for the mounting of the brackets holding the pole need to be at 61mm (2.4")above the height of the door (assuming the door you have is larger than the opening) and they need to be level. So if the door is 86" in length, place the holes at 88.4" from the floor) As long as you follow that, the rest is fairly easy. Had it installed within an hour.

I just received my order. It came in one long box with each component wrapped and boxed separately within the main box. Nicely packaged to avoid any damage in shipment. All the components were present. I opened and inspected all the parts and am happy to say that the workmanship was excellent. The parts had crisp edges, even brushing and no scratches or marks.I'm still renovating the room that this will be mounted in so I can't comment on the ease of installation or how well it functions when used but there's nothing I see that gives me any reason to think it will not go smoothly or that I won't be happy with its function.

Beautiful. Excellent quality. Heavy, solid. I can’t say enough about this barn door hardware. I’m extremely pleased with this purchase. I found this exact hardware at my local Home Depot for more than double the price. Went searching online for the actual supplier and found it on Ali Express out of China. Tracked it back to Amazon. Bought it and received it today. I would definitely recommend this item.

The product is very nice and looks sturdy and well made.Only the instructions seemed off. I'm very experienced with renovations and I still had trouble figuring out at what height to put the screws and I messed up twice.
