I have outfitted my Panasonic S5iiX with ALL accessories from Neewer because their quality is top notch and they are better priced than the other popular brand accessories. This monopod is no exception. It’s extremely versatile, light weight, sturdy, and provides good stability. It’s easy to use and figure out right out of the box. I love being able to attach my camera rig by just dropping the plate it from the top, whereas my Sachtler tripod has to be slid in from the back. I bought this for run and gun shooting so I wouldn’t always have to lug around a tripod, and I’m very happy with the purchase. I bought mine used-like new condition but unfortunately it was missing the mounting plate. Luckily my Sachtler plate is an exact match so I didn’t bother to do a return, I’ll just buy another plate at some point in the future. Not having to take the plate off my rig when switching between this and my tripod is a huge convenience. I put my camera rig on this, locked down all the adjustment points and made sure it was level, and with the feet out it held my camera up just fine. I wouldn’t walk away from it on a windy day, but it’s one feature that speaks volumes to the quality of this monopod. The head is smooth on pan and tilt, and while I wouldn’t use it in place of my Sachtler head if the shot needs a cinematic pan/tilt, I will be able to use it for run and gun situations. You can even use just the feet and the head for a table-top or floor shot.

Very functional and valuable for the price. I used it for multiple devices so I had to get extra mounts, which fit perfectly in the storage compartment in the provided travel case. Very sturdy and easy to use.

Bought this as a backup when my main monopod, that cost more than twice as much as this one, had to go in for repairs under warranty. I first bought a different brand - I chose that one and this Neewer as my options and I made the mistake of picking the other one first because of interest in trying a different brand. After one use I realized how inferior the other brand was so I returned it. I replaced it with this unit and it lived up to the expectations. I own other Neewer equipment and it is all high quality. I should have known better than to try another brand. Lesson learned.

It shakes a little bit after you move your monopod and your camera, I am not sure if this is common for all monopod. So you will have to hold it to make it stable quickly.

Very sturdy. Holds heavy Canon DSLR for church video. We mounted this monopod to the corner of our tech booth and holds a static video camera. Very sturdy, now wiggle or sway.

Super happy with this purchase thanks perfect for my R5 mII with my 24-105

I bought this to use for concert photography. I think it's a bit overboard for what I need but it gets the job done. The head is super heavy and I wish there was a way to remove the head and use just the stick portion. The head motion is nice and smooth with the use of the long handle. My one gripe with this product is the "quick" change is not always quick... I can't seem to figure out if it's something I'm doing wrong or if it's a design flaw but there were many instances that I could not get the camera and plate to slide into the monopod head.

Le monopode est bien plus costaud que je l'avais pensé, c'est du robuste, tant le support que la tête vidéo. Il est en outre très bien conçu, jusque dans les moindres détails. Un niveau à bulle est intégré, les mouvements sont fluides mais peuvent être bloqués fermement. C'est fonctionnel, accessible, rapide, et ça s'adapte aussi bien aux droitiers qu'aux gauchers. Ça se règle, ça se monte et se démonte en un clin d'œil, la plaque est solidement fixée, le matériel ne craint rien. Bref, un vrai outil de pro, stable et fiable. — Le carbone contribue à en faire un truc plutôt léger, transportable soit par son manchon de mousse (très confortable), soit par la dragonne. — Il est de plus livré avec un sac de transport capitonné (deux poignées et une courroie d'épaule). En dehors de l'aspect fonctionnel, l'objet est remarquablement fini. Tout noir avec quelques touches de rouge, IL EST BEAU. C'est presque du luxe pour un prix contenu, je suis fier de mon achat. Et satisfait, bien sûr.

Excellent, for me I've put the video head on my tripod so that this year I want to to do some videoing as well as photography. The monopod I can attach to my camera directly or use a speed gimbal. It's a lot stronger than the old one I had especially bearing in mind that my wildlife photography set up is heavier then before. The cost is very competitive compared to the other makes and just as good. I know this because I attended the photography show at the O2 last year and got to try many different makes.

Fantastic Monopod... exceeded my expectations! The build quality is fantastic, the stand at the base is solid and sturdy! The fastening tighteners to extend and lock the pole at height are fantastic. Highly recommend this monopod!
