Q: Can a man actually drink beer out of this without the container altering the flavor of the beer?

Per my review of this product, I cannot recommend anyone purchase it. While you can drink out of it and it is advertised that way, the lid hinge is held on by what a appears to staples. It fell apart after a couple of uses. I returned the product for refund.

Q: What is the decorative metal made of?

Hard to say. It feels like middle of the road quality. Not pure copper but not aluminum either. My guess is steel brushed with copper.

Q: What is the proper method for cleaning after use?

Always clean by hand with warm soapy water and hand dry to prevent warping and separation
