The Shure SM7B is the choice of YouTubers, Podcasters, and Rock Singers and despite being a recording studio owner, I didn't have one in the mic cupboard until recently. For some reason, the Shure SM7B doesn't come with a case! Just a cardboard box. I suppose, as a lot of these are permanently installed on stands in radio and podcasting studios it doesn't need one.However, I take mine to other studios and on location, so I did need one and this one was my choice. I immediately knew it worked because I bought a used one, and it was shipped to me by applying the postage label to the actual mic case! If it can survive that, it's a good sign.It's well-made, functional and does the job. Perfect.

This does the job but won’t protect the mic from drops. Not to a sufficient standard which is a shame. There’s not really any padding just a mould so like I say it gives limited protection

Bought as a gift for a drummer as a microphone case. Strong and easy to carry.

Having invested in a shure sm7b (finally, it really is worth the hype for rock/metal vocals) a reliable storage case was a must.Decent price, does the job, throw in a silica sachet and I’m confident my mic is much safer.Whilst it’s not going to stand up to a soaking or being dropped off a roof- it’s not marketed as such and isn’t designed to- what it is, is very comparable to other semi hard cases supplied with other audio gear (in both fit and finish) and certainly better than keeping the mic in the cardboard box it came in.

I'm a traveler and a musician so this was esencial to have. It even fits my mini stand that i got.
