Took this little thing on a huge camping trip and used it to learn my directions when it came to astronomy before hitting the bed! Some cool little features and definitely good quality for the price!

We are building a new home. We wanted to see the direction the sun rose and set for the placement of our home.Worked perfect…bought one for the grandson for camping as well. The whistle is annoying…😂 but that’s to be expected.

It works like it's supposed to, I have used it while camping for long periods of time and it works great, I have a few complaints tho. One is it's made in China so it's durable enough yes but you can tells it was hastily put together, Two the pouch, the pouch used to carry the Compass it's again cheaply made it does get the job done but be aware of that, three the Compass has a string attached to it, which is fine but the clip it's attached too is made of plastic and I found it to be brittle. Overall it's a great thing to have for any camper I do recommend it despite those few problems.

As you can clearly see the inside is damaged so not sure how the this will effect it with later use so time will tell , I’m happy with the feel and look of the compass but just expected better - the company have got in contact with me and have made plans to make amends

These surprised me for the quality considering the price. Very good build quality, would highly recommendfor the hikers in your life.

Our grandson loves anything and everything to do with woods, forestry, walking, even getting lost and finding his way back by the compass.It’s excellent for any age. Very clear. Lanyard and whistle included. Nice for grandad to teach the grandson how to use. A nice hobby for them both.

Do they work - yes. Are they e ceptional quality? No but for the money they are pretty darn decent. The bezel is on the light side and it is honestly the only thing that stopped me from a 5 star rating. As said, for the money these are tickety boo. I ended up taking the bezel off and "helping" it with a little strategic stretching and sanding to the inner collar and then added a little petroleum jelly to it to smooth out the action - ended up just fine.
