Optoma GT1080HDRx Short Throw Gaming Projector | Enhanced Gaming Mode for 1080p 120Hz Gameplay at 8.4ms | 1080p and HDR support with 4K UHD input | Bright 3,800 Lumens for Day and Night| White

Still loving it. It is lasting much longer than my last Optoma, and no complaints. Well worth the price

Based on the price I think this is worth at least four stars - brightness is fair, picture is decent. After messing with it for an evening or two I've found the adjustments appear to be fairly limited such that I could not get an offset installation to work. Keystone adjustment is vertical only, so the picture gets really horsed-up if you are more than a few degrees off center. Zoom-in and image shift are realistically only good for a notch, or two, before the picture starts getting cropped. Last, the holes to attach a ceiling mount are tiny and within about a 5" diameter - this is very limiting in terms of which "universal" ceiling mounts are compatible.

This replaced an older Optoma short throw projector. Very bright even during the day with open curtains. I'm not currently using any screen and just projecting the images on a painted wall. Color and brightness is impressive even on eco+ mode.

I really like this projector. No problems. Great quality. Best bang for the buck. I researched lots of projectors and this one hits the mark.

Wasn’t happy with the condition of the used projector. Claimed it was Like New with original packaging. Product was very heavily used and the lens was dirty and scratched up. Very disappointed. Now I get to wait up to 30 days for a refund. Fun! 👎🏻

Unfortunately, this model suffers from the same audio out problems that the base model does (you can check the reviews on that model for more details). The picture is amazing and the brightness was exactly what I was after for a large garage deco display for Halloween. Unfortunately, no matter what device I plugged into the audio out suffered from crackling until it eventually stopped working entirely. This was while being connected to either the HDMI 1 or 2 inputs, making using a media box without separate audio out capabilities impossible. This can be circumvented by changing audio settings in the source if you have that ability, but I did not, so it didn't work out for me. The keystone and focus were easy to manage, the menu was simple to navigate, and all pretty basic as expected. Overall, a very decent-looking projector that unfortunately suffers in the audio department.

We're using it for presentations, announcements, and sheetmusic examples in a well lit classroom, rehearsal hall type of space. The projector's image is bright and high quality. We're rear projecting onto a light absorbing screen (0.8 ratio) to reduce ambient light glare; even so, there's enough lumens coming out to keep images viewable and readable. We're making about a 110" diagnol image from only about 3.3 feet away from the screen. Took a star off rating, because setup and aiming instructions are non-intutive and sparse. However, the in-focus, crisp and bright, image display is wonderful!

The I have had the project for a few months now and one thing that has really stood out to me is the picture quality. The image is bright and the colours are very vivid right out of the box. Playing movies and video games feel very impressive in 120 inches.

Overall, good projector for the price. Good picture quality when using for my golf simulator.
