Okay this is almost creepy with how well it’s worked so far. My one 10 year old cat has been getting extreme hairballs for the last year. Sometimes daily. Some were so big and I could tell she felt nauseated and sick after she got them. I took her to the vet and ruled out any medical conditions. I have tried many cat treats for hair balls including the gel formulas that didn’t work at all, some even made the the issue worse. I ordered these as a last resort and have been giving 1/2 a packet to each cat once a day. I just put it on top of their breakfast and they LOVE it. Since starting this 2.5 weeks ago she has not had ONE hair ball which is insane to me. She is acting like she feels great and begs me for these treats. I never write reviews but this way truly amazing haha

These have absolutely ruined dry treats for my cats, they aren't even interested anymore. Can I blame them? Not really. These seem to have very good quality ingredients, my cats go nuts for the taste, the price is about the same here as it is at my local pet feed store, but I may be saving a small amount with the subscription. I froze them for the cats bc it's been so hot out and they seemed to enjoy it very much. They do get a little messy at times as it is a bit too easy to squeeze out of the tube sometimes, but freezing them does help with that. Not that it matters much because ifeven so much as a drop gets on the floor, they will not let it sit there, they'll absolutely lick it up right away, however, it's not the best idea to let that happen on carpet, they are very juicy. I think it's the perfect size for one cat, I typically give one to each, but have to share whichever one is open with both to do that bc they will push each other out of the way to get to the yum. As for the hairball control, it seems to be working, they do not get hairballs. My cats are absolutely obsessed with this stuff. They could be in a completely different part of the house but if I cut one open at any point, they come running! Obviously I'll be buying again, and again, and again. The cats have threatened major skippity-baps if I don't. 😂

I don’t know if this helped with the hairballs, but my cats love it and it makes a tasty treat for them. Be warned, they stink.

I have a Maine Coone/Norwegian forest cat so this means a lot of her and this will literally keep him from having hairballs during the summer summertime when he sheds so much. He absolutely loves it, makes a complete mess because he’s too busy gulping it down and it helps him. So it’s a win-win. He thinks he’s getting a treat, but in reality, I am keeping his hairballs in check.

I don’t write a lot of reviews but these are incredible. I have a VERY long haired calico. Her hairballs are terrible. I tried every paste, treat, etc., and she would not touch them. This stuff she INHALES. I now give her one every other day and they have made a huge difference. No more gross surprises on the floor LOL. Have them on auto-order, which is something else I never do. But LOVE these. Smell horrible but who cares????

AMAZON IS AMAZING..... & SO IS THIS PRODUCT..... MY CAT "LOVES" THIS STUFF. FINALLY a hairball treatment that I don't have to smear on my kitty's paw. She doesn't like even the expensive hairball traditional stuff. And the cat foods that say hairball control makes her vomit. She loves this stuff, but not liking it off packages as advertised. We have to squeeze it unto a dish for her to lick it up that way. I am not sure yet if it will actually help her with her hairballs. But so far I have not heard her hacking either. I love how easy it is to use. I do wish it t was easier to tear open, because I have to cut them. Not a big issue, but it still would have made it easier to use. The texture is creamy like baby food. It even kinda smells like baby food. But she loves it. I like the size portions, to me seems like it is just right amount as to not waste any of it. I am a bit put off by the expensive price. But if it works, I will buy it again.

My cats love this. It really does help with hairballs. I only wish it came with more it cost less.

It's like pulling teeth to get medicine into my sweet boy. But the regular Inaba Churu has made this possible. A little Churu first to lube his throat, followed by a pill and the promise of more Churu gives him incentive to cooperate. For both my cats, Churu is too die for! More recently, his belly didn't feel right to me. It felt hard. But the vet didn't see or feel anything wrong. During the time we have had him, Mozart has never hacked up a hairball. Ever. BUT, upon closer examination of the litter box I could see a fibrous "pointy" log that I had been mistaking for a normal stool. There was a ton of fur in it and much to my dismay, I came to realize his fur was actually holding his poo together. I was so worried! I've read this sort of thing can cause an intestinal blockage and land a cat into surgery. He sheds more than any cat I've ever had and Mozart (in the photo) is repelled by petroleum based hair ball products. (Can't blame him for that). He hightails it somewhere where I can't find him until the threat has passed. So when I discovered Inaba offered this product for hairballs, I was very hopeful. Sure enough, true to their coveted recipe, it made the last of that nasty bezoar slide on out. His belly feels soft again. He has more energy. So with this problem solved, we now have to deal with finding him a totally chicken-free food which seems to be near impossible to find with gravy in it and also impossible to afford. Certain companies have a monopoly on the production of Hydrolyzed foods and even though hydrolyzed wouldn't be the best choice for a healthy carnivore, it would relieve my little guy of such massive shedding and ingestion of excessive, not to mention the harassment of the intense itching that cats with allergies suffer. Inaba, please work on a formula to create a nutritionally complete food for cats with this same wonderfully, silky texture. So many of us have beloved felines that seem only to lap the gravy from their dish and leave the "meat". Surely your brilliant minds can make this happen. I promise, it will make you richer. Thank you, thank you for making a delicious way to relieve Mozart's misery.

It’s a very expensive snack, which I bought in bulk thinking it’d help with the hairball issues my long haired siberian cats are facing. They vomit fur balls once a week (normally), so the promise this snack made of helping to pass the hair through the digestive tract and be expelled through the stool etc etc etc was a very compelling sell. Tried feeding half pack per cat per day for a week, then tried feeding one pack per cat per day for a week, then tried feeling one pack per cat every two days - any combination gave the same results - MORE HAIRBALL VOMITS. Seriously it’s like this thing induces more hairball vomits.

I have a long haired Siberian cat and give him this treat daily. He absolutely loves it. I usually use one pouch a day and add little drops on top of his wet food morning and evening, and he enjoys every bit. The best part though is that even with so much shedding he doesn’t cough up many hairballs and I guess it goes through his digestive system instead. I guess it’s working!

My cats love this product. I bought it to give them more moisture to their diet. They thought it was a treat and couldn’t get enough of them.
