I see a lot of the orders are expired. Can you guarantee it will ship fresh?

I am not the vendor, so I cannot guarantee anything. My order arrived fresh.

Are they meant to be eaten whole?

I eat about 80% of them whole, and peel 20%. The shells are not fibrous at all...they are easily chewed into...uh...pulp by chewing. Much different than others I've had. Extremely tasty, but the description is wrong...they are unsalted.
