Better than I thought they would be. Keeping dryer clean, no static, pet hair is removed and clothes come out with no wrinkles!!

Once I discovered these wool dryer balls I was initially very skeptical, but after using them since 2018, I can’t imagine doing laundry without them! The clothe and other laundry: - dries much faster - replaces liquid fabric softener, so saves money, chemicals, and storage space - replace dryer sheets, so saves money, chemicals, and storage space - reduces static - reduces chemical exposure to the skin of my whole family - reduces trash - and after I changed the heat setting to Low, the clothes have significantly less wrinkles, and it still takes less time to dry than before switching to the balls - huge money saver! I can’t imagine how much money, time, and effort having these dryer balls have saved me, but it’s significant! And it should be many years before I will need to replace them, so the benefits just continue to accrue. I still have a box of Costco/Kirklands dryer sheets that have got to be 5+ years old or older. As I write this, I’m asking myself why I still have those dryer sheets. Guess I’ll do some research on alternative uses for them before tossing them out, but they’re just taking up space in my laundry room.

So glad we tried these. My daughter swears by them. No added chemicals to your laundry. Removes about 85% of the static cling. A load of wash dries faster too.

This is my second order of these, same brand (we somehow lost a few, hence the re-order!). I had never used dryer balls before, now I've been using them for over 2 years. I don't think they live up to EVERY claim--especially that they will prevent static cling. They really don't do much for that. I still throw a dryer sheet in with my whites, which is the batch that seems to build the most static. But I do like that these seem to dry things a bit faster, and definitely help with a bulky load like towels, bedding, or heavy clothing like jeans and hoodies. And, they are perfect for drying down coats/jackets or sleeping bags (which you're supposed to dry with something like tennis balls!). These also hold up great. In the years I've had them, they haven't discolored or gotten smaller or anything, they still work as good as when they were new. They don't have a scent, so that's a plus for you if you don't like the dryer sheet smell.

I purchased these wool dryer balls as part of my ongoing effort to eliminate unnecessary chemicals and synthetic fragrances from my household, and they have been an incredible replacement for traditional dryer sheets. They soften clothes naturally without leaving a waxy, chemical residue on fabrics or inside the dryer drum. Efficiency: My clothes actually dry noticeably faster now, which saves energy on heavy laundry days. They do a great job reducing static and keeping sheets and blankets from twisting into a tangled ball during the cycle. Things to Note: Because they are dense wool balls bouncing around inside the metal drum, they do make a thumping sound during the drying cycle. It isn't loud enough to bother me, but it is something to expect if your laundry room is right next to a living area. They are completely unscented. If you miss the smell of traditional laundry sheets, you will need to add a few drops of your own essential oils directly to the wool before tossing them in. Otherwise it's a fantastic, durable choice for anyone looking to transition to a more natural, toxin-free laundry routine.

These dryer balls work really well and help cut down on drying time. I switched to these because dryer sheets were leaving oily stains on my clothes, and I haven’t had that issue at all since making the switch. They’re easy to use, well made, and I like that they’re a natural option with no added scent. Overall, I’m really happy with them and would definitely recommend.

These are cool. I threw 3 in a large load of clothes in the dryer and they dried quicker than usual. They are weighty so I guess they do help separate the clothes to help dry them faster and they feel soft and nice.

I did some basic research on these things. These are listed as chemical free and I see they are 100% wool! They look like a fuzzy softball in size and appearance and they are firm not squishy. Softness of the dryer ball is good but remember they are WOOL so they are not cotton ball soft. They appear to be durable enough as I have had them in use for about a month give or take and appear to be as good as new. Super easy to put essential oils on them instead of using dryer sheets because I don’t like the heavy fragrance of those. I use sandalwood ESSENTIAL OIL NOT FRAGRANCE OIL and find that it also will blend with any body fragrance that I use and I don’t smell heavily fragranced. The clothes do have a slight sandalwood scent but the point is not using the fabric sheets with the heavy smell. The idea is to smell nice and not feel like people next to you are tasting the actual scent that you are wearing. As far as static cling goes, it does help eliminate some of that but not all of that depending on the garment in the dryer. The dryer balls do not make any real noticeable noise as they tumble with clothes and I have an inside laundry room so that’s is another bonus for me. So far they work for me

Recently switched to more “natural” home cleaning and these little balls not only replace dryer sheets, they help cut drying time and wrinkling ( i can attest to the drying time with an OLD dryer) we really love them! Just hate when they roll out of the dryer and the dog gets a hold of a few 🤷‍♀️
